Always liked coming here but every single time I've been here recently it seems to get slower and…read moreslower. They have 5 people working there but only two people behind the counter and no one else will help every time I ask. I just stopped in to cash a check and withdraw some money from a separate account and I pulled up to the drive-through sat there for 10 minutes and the line did not move so I swung around and parked and went into the bank only to find a line inside and when I asked one of the employees who was sitting at the desk if they can help me cash a check he said no and told me to go to the ATM. That was not the answer that I wanted because I want to specific bills back and I much prefer dealing with people over an ATM.

It's more or less a Regional Bank and I love it. Many banks today push online banking, mobile deposits etc. sorry that stuff is not for me. I like the personal touch. I think I have a pretty good relationship with all the employees of this branch of M & T and not only are they very friendly but always helpful with any questions or problems. We've been courted by other banks in the area but as far as I'm concerned they can keep on walking. I'm a loyal customer with no plans or desire to change banks. They are poor communicators, made us jump through a crapload of hoops for nothing, and gave us several different responses as to how much debt to pay down for closing. When I asked for clarification, I got a nasty email in ALL CAPS telling us we should not be concerned with it until we get the notice we are cleared to close, and only then will they give us the amount. They kept delaying the underwriting approval and pushing ahead the date of closing, when a firm date was finally made, THE DAY BEFORE CLOSING, their underwriter denied the mortgage based on a technicality in our financial history, which we made these morons aware of from THE DAY WE MADE THE INITIAL MORTGAGE APPLICATION! If these people become your mortgage brokers, RUN. Your pre-approved house will be lost.
