Prior to contacting Turbo Plumbing & Rooter, 3 other companies had given me price quotes to get the work done. I chose Turbo Plumbing & Rooter to do the work because their price quote was a little lower than the next closest price, but more importantly, the primary reason was the quality of the discussions we had regarding all the available options for attempting to repair, or just replacing the water heater. Also, the boss coming to an agreement with me on a little negotiation for something I wanted included in the contract was the clincher. We have a deal! The next day 2 workers arrived at the agreed upon time, removed the non-functional water heater from my garage, installed the new one in the same place, and hauled away all the remains. I have waited almost two weeks after the work was completed before writing this review, in order to ensure no problems would pop up, and none did. Now I can say whole heartedly, with the only exception being 2 sheet metal screws I found on the garage floor, that the job was completed in a professional, workmanlike, and timely manner. This weekend, a commercial property I manage had a sewer line blocked up and another plumber had…read morecome by and tried to run a snake through and didn't clear the clog. This plumber said the line needed to be hydro jetted and quoted me $850 but needed to contact the crew to see if they were even available. Kind of pricey and no certainty of even getting the line serviced that day. I called around and Plumbing Brothers was the only plumbing service that had a crew available to come over within a few hours and they quoted $650. In the past, we've had to hydrojet the line at this building and were able have the service done via the clean out that was in the bathroom and right next to the toilet. Unfortunately there were some complications this time around and the hose wasn't able to go down the clean out far enough to reach the clog so water and other nastiness were actually coming back out of the clean out and onto the bathroom floor! Fortunately, the service guys they sent, Enzo and Jesus were professionals and figured out a solution. Jesus asked if we had roof access so they could have the hose go through the pipe that's on the roof connecting to the sewer mainline. Both guys coordinated the effort and the clog was able to be flushed out! To make sure everything was clean, they put a camera down the clean out and it was a relief to see the camera showing a completely cleared sewer line. My only gripe was getting the final bill of $850 when they had agreed to charge $650. The reason for the price increase was because they needed to access the roof. With some negotiation, they talked to the boss and we came to a reasonable agreement for the final price and I got a discount because I was the one that was furiously mopping all that nasty water coming out of the clean out and making sure it wasn't flooding the hallway while they were trying to get a the clog from the clean out by the toilet! Take note, if you pay with credit card, there's a 4% card processing fee that gets added on so either have cash or check ready if you don't want to have that added cost. All in all I appreciated their prompt response and would use them again if that building needs to have the sewer line hydro jetted again.

I called Extreme Plumbing for a backed up sewage system which had overflowed into our shower and…read moremaster bathroom. Alen was our main contact, although the entire team worked hard to restore our system as quickly as possible. Initially, I thought the problem just needed a rooter to clear the blockage like it has in the past. The initial quoted price was for the rooter, and I was told the price would not change without discussion. If only it had been that simple. As things go, the problem was more complicated, and they could not clear the drain. Bad news. After some discussion and an adjusted price, the next step was to use the sewer camera which resulted in determining there were some blockages that could not be cleared. It turned out that the sewer line had issues with two trees in our front yard; their roots were collapsing the original terracotta sewage line. The camera revealed 2 collapsed sections which needed repair and holes would need to be dug; in total, 60' of sewer line needed replacement. Another adjusted, reasonable price was given. Additional complications came up but Alen and his team handled them with determination. In the end, 3 other inside drains needed to be snaked or rooted out as a result of the initial blockage. All done, the cost, while substantial, was as expensive as expected, and it included a warranty. We will be doing a kitchen renovation in the near future, and will be using Extreme Plumbing for that and all our plumbing needs going forward. Alen was very courteous and professional during the whole process.
