Went to the next store and bought an entire set of clubs with someone who helped us from the moment we walked in and was so very helpful!!!! I felt like Julia Robert's in Pretty Woman and wanted to go back with the new clubs we bought and show him what they missed out on! The get out vibes were strong, from the moment my mom and I walked in the guy at the counter seemed put off we were there and then made comments about us "being in the right place". I assumed it was cause we were women but after reading some other feedback maybe they are just annoyed by customers in general. But they didn't seem to bother the two guys much who came in after us. By the time we left additional employees had come from the back to stare at me while I was on the putting green looking at a putter, while asking me if I knew what I was even looking for and what the club was. They let us come super early to decorate the party room, we got to bring outside catering for food, they let us borrow a cooler for waters and an extra table, they even let us connect to the Bluetooth system to play our own music!! The bar was also very accommodating, and they always had someone coming by and cleaning up empty glasses. And it was all very affordable! The guests really enjoyed the golfing, and there was lots of space to spread out. Everyone at the party was telling me that this was the perfect place. Personally, I am big fan of the back nine. My only real "knock" on this course is how busy it is. In June, when it was 112 degrees, there was still an hour and a half wait for a tee time at 4pm. Student membership is a good deal. $500 per season (or $125 per month) gets you access to the driving range every day of the week and unlimited golf with a $12 cart fee. I don't think the course is as difficult as others have described, I am a high handicapper and have no problem getting through a round. If you like golf and you're a Red Raider, you should play here at least once no matter your skill/experience level.

Absolutely insane to not want to take someone's money. Anyway, don't bother coming here. They over book anyway and hole 5 regularly has up to 15 people waiting at the tee box.
