$25 for three one-once tastings of mediocre wine is absurd and is taking advantage of people. Great…read morepizza, but a total miss for me. Skip this place unless you don't mind ridiculous tasting fees. I have tasted wine all over the world at some of the finest wineries, including small boutique producers and have never paid this price. The only reason I tasted here is that I was dumb enough not to look at the prices and too embarrassed to back out once the tasting started. There are other small wineries in PEC that produce better quality wines that don't have that homemade backyard taste and they charge $3-5 for an ounce tasting.

Discovered this winery on at Saturday afternoon after reading about it on Google. The reviews…read moremostly raved about the friendly owner, service and pizza. We arrived at 12 pm and there was roughly a line of five people ahead of us and heaps of people leaving the store with pizza boxes. The parking lot was busy. While in line, we met the owner Anthony. Based on our conversation, one could tell that he is passionate about what he does and enjoys it. He spoke of his training in Italy and that he is one of the few Pizzaiolo in Canada. After hearing this, we ordered a bottle of white wine (Vidal) and a calabrese pizza. Their patio was full and the owner set up a table with his chairs from Tuscany by the entrance/exit to the kitchen. He said that when the restaurant is sometimes full, he used to bring out his own furniture. The pizza was phenomenal. Anthony said that he wakes up at 5 am to start on the dough, but was unable to share his secrets on how great the dough was. It had more of a phyllo texture and the meat was delicious. Overall, we very much enjoyed our experience learning about the history.

This winery gets points for doing many things right. First, the ambiance is fantastic - a big old…read morewooden building houses the tasting room and bar. There's lots of space and corners to nestle in to with your wine, as well as games for both adults and children alike. They do picnics as well (think charcuterie, bread, pickles & jam) that you can take on to the property and find yourself a sweet spot to have lunch or an afternoon snack. We were able to sample all of the whites and reds on offer by getting two flights and I can say that nothing disappointed. The Pinot Gris stood out for me as my favourite white - crisp and fruity. The reds were great as well - Gamay Noir was a standout for me, as well as the Gamay Pinot. That one only comes in 1.5 litre bottles, so it's a bit of a commitment. I liked this place so much that I bought into their Wine of the Month club. $300 for 12 bottles that come straight to my door - Yes please! We'll definitely be back next year to see what's on offer and get a tour of the vineyard as well.

All wood, vaulted ceilings, and a huge stone fireplace. We did a tasting at our table and enjoyed it with items from the menu. The appetizers were all pretty normal size but note that the mains are quite generous. We could have easily shared one. Also the menu is quite innovative with pastas and even Filipino specialties. Lots of parking. Recommend reservations on the weekends!
