I greeted Alex in a very "I'm so sorry" way and she was unphased. She immediately started engaging with the kids, wooing them in ways that only those the most seasoned with children would. Alex had great ideas for poses, knew the landscape well, was quick and efficient, the 30 mins flew by, even to my photo allergic husband. My obsession with Tiffany started when she captured our engagement photos in Moss Beach.  I had a specific picture I had envisioned and obsessed about, and like a bad client I didn't tell Tiffany.  When I got back my pictures, there it was!  I knew from that day on I would never use another photographer. When it came to us picking a photographer for our destination wedding in Palm Springs, I felt a gravitational pull towards Tiffany, and she didn't disappoint.  She made the booking portion very simple and easy.  I sent her a list of shots we wanted and she pretty much captured everything I could even think of, and more.  She leaned into our moody "old Hollywood" look.  She worked our 200+ wedding like she'd been doing it for decades.  She works with light like a master artist.  What comes out at the end will absolutely blow your mind.  And on top of it all, she's a lot of fun to work with and makes you feel so comfortable.  I honestly wanted her to stay the entire wedding as a guest because I felt so close to her after our journey together. .... And thank God she has a sense of humor because when I wanted to do a funny gender reveal, newborn shoot for our new puppy, Frankie, she was all in!! Working with David and Annie for our proposal photos was a breeze. Even though I initially didn't…read morehave a super solid idea of where and when I wanted to do the proposal, David was very helpful in suggesting different locations for different times of the day while providing examples. His communication was clear and responsive, and he was very patient with me no matter how many emails it took! Staging the surprise was actually a lot simpler than I expected--they ask you for some basic information as to how you're planning to do it. On the day of, I was nervous if things were going to fall into place, but Annie, our photographer, shared her location with me and arrived early in just the spot I wanted. She was also wonderful to work with--her photography and editing skills are great and even though we never really posed for photos before, she made it easy for us. She even had the presence of mind to turn us away from family members who were coming from behind to surprise us. We received a few photos the night of the proposal to share with friends and then the rest of the photos after a quick turnaround. We were very happy with how they turned out and appreciative of Annie's great work!

They were the first vendor we booked after securing our venue, so we got to know them over the course of the year leading up to our wedding in August 2025. After coming across their photos when researching different potential photographers that had experience at our venue, we were very interested in meeting them. We had an initial video call with them and knew immediately that we wanted to book them for such a critical part of our wedding journey. There aren't enough words to describe how skilled and professional they are--they are amazing photographers (individually and as a duo) and clearly love what they do. Our proposal photoshoot was the only prior experience we had in terms of taking professional photos as a couple. We met them in person for the first time at our engagement photoshoot--they immediately made us feel comfortable and were seriously thoughtful about the entire process, whether it was the location choices, minute-by-minute weather changes/forecast, outfit changes, etc. It really feels like they plan for everything and care about the little details. When we asked them about another vendor they would potentially work with on the day of our wedding, they even referenced notes they made when they had worked with them for a prior wedding. Throughout the whole process, they were prompt communicators (frequently responding to an email within minutes!) and guided us with experience and patience that we really appreciated. Whenever we had something to discuss with them (including choices we needed to make as a couple), they never hesitated to give us suggestions and feedback. Even if they offered an alternative suggestion to an idea of ours, it always felt like they genuinely cared and they wanted what we wanted, and it never felt like criticism. We received our wedding photos just about 2 months after our wedding, and we love every single one of them (all 667)! They are truly the best photographers to work with and just lovely people to be around. We definitely plan to keep in touch with them for future photoshoots! :) TL;DR: You should have booked A Tale Ahead Photography yesterday!!

We've done outdoor photos before, so I wanted non-festive studio photos. My studio session included me, my husband, and...my two-year-old son. He can be unpredictable. He can be a really ON or really OFF. I'd spoken to him all week about photos and he practiced smiling and posing. I crossed my fingers and hoped for the best. Wellllll, picture day was his OFF day. He decided to be a real two-year-old. He was A LOT! Our photographer, Chung, had the patience of a saint. I didn't think we'd get any good photos! Our session was about 40 minutes or so and Chung tried his best to get many photos. True to his word, the gallery was available to me by 8am the following day. WOW! When he said the gallery would be available the next day, I was thinking wayyyyy at the end of the day. Nope! My gallery was available a little after 8. Nice!
