I was told directly! on the computer and in person that this vehicle was in excellent condition with no issues and no problems in the past two years. I was shown the vehicle history and assured everything checked out. I purchased a $16,000 car and put $6,000 down. I've only had this car a few weeks and haven't even made my first payment yet. From the start, I was heavily pushed to add an extended warranty, which would have increased my monthly payments. I declined and asked if I can get it later on, I was told yes but it would raise $ for the mileage, I would come another day I didn't mind. Now it feels like the push for the warranty wasn't about protection but it was because they already knew the vehicle may have issues. With just one week, the check engine light came on. I've already paid $400 in repairs, and the car is still having ongoing problems. This experience has been extremely disappointing, and stressful as a single mother of two. I feel the condition of the vehicle was not honestly represented, and the focus was more on making a sale than on customer trust. I would NOT recommend this dealership! read more

I went in to buy a vehicle out of pure necessity. I was terrified to even try to be honest. Finding a vehicle at my size and while being wheelchair dependant all due to spinal injuries makes many situations challenging (judgements and disrespect) and to deal with that looking for a vehicle while being female made me very anxious. Immediately, I was greeted by Adam Couch and was never treated like anything other than a human being. He went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and welcome. He helped me meet my needs check list and find the best way to get me what I needed within my budget. He helped when my husband became a part of the discussion to help him feel more comfortable with a newer vehicle since he's very "old school" when it comes to vehicles. I'm ashamed to say that I can't remember the guy who was in charge of our financing but he was also AMAZING! Again, he went above and beyond to get us financed at the best rate possible. The honesty about warranty costs and benefits was a big plus. A few days after getting my car, we had a random check engine light come on and was immediately set up with a time to come in and have everything checked. Still being cautious, I had my husband run the codes before going in so I knew what it was to some extent so I knew they didn't try to "take advantage" because I'm a woman (I've been there). Right before my appointment, the car acted up (battery issue) while I was out and immediately went straight there and there was a team of people reacting immediately. They went out of their way to find me a loaner - especially one that would accommodate my physical needs and my wheel chair. They have since had my vehicle in a couple times for little minor things and have taking great care of me and my vehicle. Craig has been a rock star in my corner trying to help find and stove all issues that come up. Even reminding me of my tire/ wheel warranty when I was concerned about a slow leak on one of the rims when I was prepared to pay for the fix. That brings me too the Quick Lube guys. Oh my galoshes! They've all been so great! From something as simple as airing up my tires (because of my disability, just putting air in is a challenge) to the fix of the slow leak to the answering of questions to the notification of what they thought might be an oil leak (turned out it was from an old spill but they even went and took pics so I could see what they were talking about and bring the info to my husband later) and insuring that my oil level was still good (turns out it was fine because like I said it was caused by a spill from before that most had been cleaned up but this little bit was not in an easy to clean up area but they saw it because they were checking everything over). Really, I'm so blessed to have these people on my team when I've had issues or just questions. I keep their business cards in my car and wallet for when people ask me who I think they should talk to about cars. I wish I could remember EVERYONE'S names that has helped me there. Buyers Beware - My Experience with Hubler Chevrolet Buick GMC of Bedford, Indiana I purchased a 2021 Diesel Duramax 3500 Chevrolet Silverado 4-wheel drive new from Hubler of Bedford on November 27, 2020, and have taken great care to maintain my truck properly. Despite having a powertrain warranty and an extended bumper-to-bumper warranty for the duration of my loan or 200,000 miles, my recent experience with their Service Department has been nothing short of disappointing. On January 16, 2025, while attempting to back my truck into position on my property, I got stuck in less than 5 inches of snow--which was surprising given the truck had handled identical conditions earlier that day. I followed the correct process to engage four-wheel drive, but instead of pulling free, my truck made a loud noise, and I immediately shut it off. Fluid was pouring from a crack in the transfer case, later confirmed as the source of the failure. I reached out to the Hubler Chevrolet Buick GMC Service Department, expecting my warranties to cover this serious issue. Instead, I was met with dismissive and unhelpful treatment from Craig Stevens, a Service Advisor who repeatedly insisted that I must have hit something to cause the failure. He also falsely claimed that my extended warranty had expired--despite Shawn, the finance manager, reassuring me multiple times that my warranties were still valid. Beyond the warranty dispute, Craig Stevens continuously made me feel like I was on trial, questioning whether I had properly maintained my vehicle and making condescending remarks about whether my truck was "too much for me to handle." I was made to feel that my concerns were ignored and invalidated simply because I am a woman--which is absolutely unacceptable from any professional service team. To make matters worse, I later learned that Craig Stevens is not even the Service Manager--a role that actually belongs to Chris, someone I had never spoken with in over 17 days of dealing with the dealership. Chris falsely claimed to GMC representatives that he had reviewed the damage with me--yet I have never met or spoken with him. Throughout this ordeal, Craig Stevens even suggested that I file an insurance claim instead of seeking coverage under my warranty, falsely implying that I had hit something--rather than acknowledging the real cause of the failure. He insisted I report the damage as an impact-related issue despite knowing it was a mechanical failure. When I asked if the dealership had a collision shop, Craig admitted it was a mechanical repair, yet still tried to push me toward making a misleading insurance claim instead of honoring my warranty. This was not only dishonest but entirely unethical. Despite raising concerns about my vehicle's vibrations and unusual noises during previous maintenance visits, the Service Department failed to diagnose the issue multiple times. Had they properly inspected my truck earlier, they could have identified a potential driveshaft problem before catastrophic failure occurred. Throughout this frustrating ordeal, Shawn, the finance manager, has been the only helpful person at Hubler. He ensured that I had a loaner vehicle from day one, which was one of the few bright spots in an otherwise terrible experience. Meanwhile, the Service Department has been dismissive, unprofessional, and unwilling to honor my warranties. I strongly encourage potential customers to think twice before trusting Hubler Chevrolet Buick GMC of Bedford's Service Department. A dealership that refuses to stand behind its own warranties, disregards valid concerns, encourages dishonest insurance claims, and misleads customers for their own convenience is not one I would recommend to anyone. read more

Service department is awful! September of 2022 had oil changed, two months later my truck almost blew up because they didn't tighten the oil filter and it had leaked slowly for two months and blew the oil all over the underneath. December of 2022, took truck in for new brakes and was told I had hot spots on my rotors and they would need replaced and while I was at it I should go ahead and change the pads. I told them that was fine. Was called hours later to tell me it would be the next day as the wrong rotors had been sent. Picked it up the next day, still wasn't done for another hour. Got the bill it stayed the rotors had all been machined not changed and I have one heck of shake now when the brakes are applied. Currently at another GM dealer looking at getting it corrected. I am DONE with Hubler and if you cannot do good service you also will not get my next purchase!! read more

This car dealership sold the car I had arranged to purchase out from under me and didn't even call to let me know before I made the trip to the dealership. I arrived and was informed that a salesman dropped the ball, and that there were no other new cars available to purchase. I wish I could give less than one star. SAD, SAD EXPERIENCE!! Service department is the worst service I have ever received no questions asked. Was on a weekend vacation and my car broke. Spoke with TJ on a Friday close to 5pm and then again Monday morning just to do a nice follow up since he knew we were from out of town. He told me he would give me an idea of what was going on by noon. I showed up at service department at noon. TJ was gone to lunch and the other service guy there basically said sorry about you, you spoke to TJ so I can't help you, we haven't even looked at car that I know of, not to mention the way he spoke of TJ and pretty much saying yeah well that's TJ as if this happens all the time (So apparently according to TJ's workmate you can't believe what TJ says) So seems as if even the workers don't respect each other so why would they respect a customer. Needless to say by Wednesday I finally figured them out. They are incompetent as far as service telling me they can fix it but now after all this they tell me they are 6 weeks out, so...needless to say I towed my vehicle from Hubler in Bedford all the way to Ed Martin Cadillac in Anderson because that is a dealership I can get behind, quality customer service based on past experience. Oh and almost forgot, The car was completely dead no battery life when the tow truck picked it up because once again these incompetent workers at Hubler left the ignition turned forward according to the tow company also got my key fob back broke according to my wife, (I haven't seen it yet) it was in great working order before they got their hands on it. So please if at all possible do NOT use Hubler in Bedford. You will regret it based on my experience. SAD, SAD EXPERIENCE!! PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM HUBLER IN BEDFORD!!! read more
