Stay away at all costs. Multiple instances of them buying totaled cars/cars with major issues and fixing them up direct as to have nothing show up on the carfax/history. I personally bought a 2024 Malibu with a clean car fax that I later discovered had been totaled and shoddily repaired at Hobsons request. Multiple employees/past employees have admitted to these practices and have been admitted to the pressure management puts on them to sell the cars at all cost. I had to threaten them with reporting them to the Secretary of State before they would budge. Eventually they let me trade it in for a different vehicle worth less that I still paid an additional $1,500 like the sucker I am. Don't trust a word they say. I would rate a zero if it would let me. Beware of service center. Vehicle under warranty with driveline issues. Rep said yes this is an issue and sold me a bunch of services that did not fix the issue - finally told me they can't see the problem even after the rep rode with me and recorded the issue on his phone and agreed. After calling Ford corporate, HQ told me to find another dealer as they had issues with this one. Don't waste your money! read more

This place has gone down hill sense, Hobson has took it over. I take multiple work trucks and personal vehicle for service here. I order a Mach 1 in July of 2021 car didn't come in tell April of 2022. Car was not what I ordered. Someone put the order in wrong. So I had to re-order the car. Next car came in September Of 2022. But now the MSP had raised for my original MSP. When I picked up the car Hobson said I qualified for price protection told me I receive the difference of a check with in 90 days it's been almost a year now still haven't received anything. I've called multiple times and they are no help. They tell me they sent it in the Ford and are waiting to hear back, but it's been a year. This place is a joke anymore. read more

Recently I had a milestone check up on my 2018 F150 truck and needed to verify information on the extended warranty. Dropped car off for oil change and maintenance and when I picked it up nothing had been done to the car although claimed it had. Frustrating with that alone, they also left me with paint damage around my window!! Has taken months for the manager to come to a resolution on the problems and let me know it would cost me over 500.00 for damages THEY did. Also, I was informed I had no more oil changes left that they had expired. Ya think they would have offered to actually DO the oil change! This isn't the 1st time having problems with their service department. Lastly, I had a tire light coming on in which they told me they found nothing...took it to Big O and found a nail in the tire. So obviously Ford never searched for the tire leak either. Very VERY upset with them. read more

Worst buying experience ever! My family has been Ford "loyal" for over four generations and are current owners of seven Ford vehicles. We have shopped at numerous dealers around our area, but this is the first time (and last) we visited Hobson Ford. We were hesitant to drive the hour and a half from our home, but had found a vehicle we wanted to check out. We were greeted by a young man who had very little knowledge about vehicles. Upon agreeing to purchase, he promised to order an owners manual that was missing, a full vehicle detail, help with programming lock features, a full tank of gas, among other things. We ended up with several pages of information off a printer, worst detailing job ever (photos included) and barely a half tank of gas! If we wanted help with the other things, we would have to go talk to the service dept. With our frustration mounting we talked to the "General Sales Manager" who offered no help at all. He basically said that's the way they do things. Well, I can promise you that's NOT the way other dealers conduct business. So sad. I purchased a similar vehicle just a week before and received everything your place said couldn't be done. Again, we will never go back, nor will I ever recommend them to anyone else. This dealership does not run VIN numbers and deal in shady practices. They are not honest. When anyone pulls your credit it shows all your creditors you owe. They pull a scam and say they don't pull VINs so they do not include payoffs of a lien. Then get you to sign over title. This is not a good practice. Means they will take any vehicle if stolen, owed for child support, has a lien from bank or mechanic. They just don't check. They offer an amount for vehicle without knowing anything about that vehicle. I would never buy anything from them.
