The place has done a 180 in the Right direction. It is back to being 4 to 5 stars depending on the staff and cook working. The MVP makes a fantastic breakfast. Great hamburgers and they make a good steak for dinner. We drive 25+ miles each way to eat here. The Augusta area lost it 3 Huddle House locations, due to poor management and staff issues. But Waynesboro has its act together. read more

Service at this location is very unreliable. My family's experience today was very disappointing. We were asked for our drink order immediately after we found a table. I ordered coffee indicating I would need cream and sugar. We received our drinks with our menus. I had to ask for a spoon for my coffee. We placed our order. Was informed that one of our desired items was no longer available. The only customized item was for hash browns extra crispy with cheese. My husband requested bbq sauce as a condiment. Our meal arrived and was dropped off without any questions or interaction from our server to ensure our food was correct or if we needed anything else. The hash browns were not crispy. They were white and limp and I could not eat them. My husband did not receive the bbq sauce he requested. Our order contained two waffles. We did not receive syrup. Our server came to our table 1 time during our entire meal, asked if we needed refills and left before we could even answer. My coffee cup was empty for most of our meal. My teen retrieved a syrup container from another table. Unless I wanted to go wait at the counter that was busy with people getting pick up orders our table was given no opportunity by our server to address our concerns or correct the issues we had with our meal. It's understandable to get less than perfect service on a busy day when the server is racing around everywhere, it's not acceptable to watch the same server stop, chat for a bit and and generally provide actual service to the other tables nearby. Overall we were very disappointed and did not enjoy our meal today. read more

I've been eating here since it opened in the 80's. It has been through several owners and management over the decades. Since the new owners have taken over it is always 5 Stars. Always clean, always friendly, never out of entrees, and always spot on. The new privacy fence blocking the back door of the minus one star eatery next door adds as much to the ambiance as the sparkling clean dining area and the friendly professional staff. For years we bragged on the Cleveland Georgia location and that is the store we measure all Huddle House location by. Now the Waynesboro Huddle House is right there on the same level. read more

Today as we were enjoying time with friends and our meal was interrupted by a visitor .( baby roach) The table was not clean and the floor was dirty . Beware and pay attention to to your surrounding when eating. The only offered a discount after presented with the actual living crawling roach. Huddle House do better. read more

Tables not cleaned and they weren't busy, nobody greeted people coming in, lady just looked at us. Ordered my food and that part was good. Waitress asked if I needed anything else when my food came, I asked for another cup of coffee and hot sauce for food........waitress went on break and never came back till my food was gone, never got the hot sauce or cup of coffee! Big NO! We stopped in for a quick breakfast. I had the veggie omelet, potatoes and coffee. Coffee was weak, and my food was drowned in grease. It was inedible. They did nothing about it. We went to pay our $18 bill and the credit card machine was down (we didn't have cash). It was completely OUR problem, the cashier flipped the bill on the counter and just glazed at us. A terrible place to eat! To begin with my husband got hung up on after trying to place a to go order, and being told they could not take a to go order over the phone. Rude! After finally getting my food, my order was totally wrong. I asked for a club sandwich, and somehow ended up with a BLT! We were then told they do not have any condiments (ketchup, mayo, etc.) available to give you, as they are "locked up" and can only be given out when the manager comes in and "unlocks" them. What? This is not the first time I have experienced terrible food & service at this location. However, I thought I would give them another chance. I won't make that mistake again! This place has some of the sweetest employee. The pace is pretty clean for a huddle house. Teamwork seems to work pretty well. The short blonde manager is always smiling and checking on everyone to her employees and customer. read more

We live near this restaurant and have usually enjoyed the food because of the price, and the quality. However, today was one of the worst experiences we've ever had at a restaurant. We should have listened to the people who walked out and said "Good luck!" We waited 20+ minutes and were never acknowledged: no greeting, no water or silverware, no attempt to communicate at all! I suspect that they were short staffed, but to totally ignore people can NEVER be acceptable. read more
