To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally express my extreme dissatisfaction with the vehicle I recently purchased. Despite being told the car was in great shape and receiving assurances from both your dealership and the recommended third-party shop, the condition of the vehicle is unacceptable. Since taking delivery, I have discovered the following major issues: - The key is stuck and will not come out of the ignition. - There is a hole in the trunk. - The mirrors are non-functional. - The interior is falling apart and the dash is detached. Furthermore, I specifically requested that the car be cleaned and the gas tank filled prior to delivery. Instead, the car arrived dirty and with an empty tank. Offering a $500 refund is an insulting response to the level of incompetence displayed by your sales and management teams throughout this process. As an out-of-state buyer, I relied on your transparency, and that trust has been completely violated. I expect a more appropriate resolution to address these significant defects and the failure to meet the basic terms of our agreement. I asked them to simply take car back. read more

I purchased a car from Husdon Automotive on 12/3/25. Upon test driving the car I smelled oil burning on the inside of the car. I expressed this to the rep Mal and to Drew who handled my paperwork. I was advised that they had a top notch service department and could fix anything wrong with the car. So believing their word I purchased the car. I did not purchase a warranty because it would have put my payments out of my price range adding over $100 to my payment and judging by all of the other complaints it does not cover anything. I took the car back the next day because the oil light was on red meaning there was something wrong with the oil. They assured me there was nothing wrong with it. I drove the car about a week or so and come to find out the horn did not work and i called and took it back to the service center where the fixed the horn and I told the service guy that I still smelled burning oil in the car and he said and I quote "we fixed an oil leak in the car and the oil leaked down in all the cracks and crevices and it's still burning off". I asked how long should I smell burning oil and he said " a while". I then drove the car down to Myrtle Beach which is about a 3 hour drive for me only to have the car break down on me in Myrtle Beach leaving me stranded to find a ride home. I called the dealership again and they came and got the car and took it BACK to their service center for the third time. The service center said that they had to "torque" the bolts in my PCV valve cover gasket and it should be fine now. I drove the car a week and then started smelling that same burning oil smell so this time I did not take the car to their service center but to my own mechanic who informed me of the repairs it needed and why I smelled oil the entire time even on my test drive. They advised me that the oil was leaking way before I purchased this car and each time I took it to their service center there was absolutely no repairs done on this car to try and fix the oil leak. This means that the dealership knew about this oil leak and did not fix it nor did they advise me that there was an oil leak in the car which could cause the engine to fail. The car is valued at $5993 and this repair is $2500, almost half the price of the car. I called the dealership and sent the estimate over and was advised they will not do anything further to assist with this car. I feel like I was defrauded into purchasing this car with this major repair and either they should pay for the repairs at my mechanic shop or return my money and take this car back. I will never recommend them to any of my family and friends and do my best to warn everyone about this fraudulent dealership. Reading the other complaints this is a normal pattern. read more

10/10. Great service, communication, reasonable price. They made sure to give me the detailed invoice as requested and kept me updated on the repair progress. Their work on my car was immaculate. They walked through with me on the repair details done to my car, answered my questions and made sure I was satisfied with the outcome before I took my vehicle off the lot. Was told over the phone the truck was in really good shape and would really like it. Drove from Raleigh to test drive and immediately turned around. Awful and a complete rip off! They overcharge and no contact as promised. The charged a storage fee and charged me for putting my car back together. The overcharged my insurance company and me. They don't care about their customers. They just want your money. I do not recommend them at all. Charging a storage fee on a car they was supposed to fix is insane. I came in on 10/6/22 I came to check out 2013 Hyundai Sonata to make a long story short Josh Preston sales also road with me didn't get 5 minutes from Hudson Auto Works and the check engine light came on I immediately made B line back to their dealer Josh hook computer up and said it was and 02 censors he said they would fix it I gave $200 dollar deposit giving Hudson Auto Works the benefit of doubt on Wednesday 1011/22 I get call from Josh saying he miss read code it wasn't o2 censors that it was something else now we all know when check engine light comes on there is a situation it took 4 days to tell me that and they didn't fix it Josh claims after we walked inside after I test drove their service guys pulled Sonata into shop and code went off then Josh continues to say the manager drove it hone just to be sure it didn't come back on I continued on and told Josh that this would be a present for my son in college who is a distance away and I don't feel comfortable about making this purchase and I would just like to receive my $200 deposit back like you said I would get back and Josh Written on receipt that I could get my money back if repairs didn't get done when I make mention if this tell him I have receipt still Josh goes onto say WE Can't give you your money back DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PLACE THEN AND MAKE SURE TO CHECK THE CAR OUT BEFORE SIGNING ANY PAPPER WORK read more

they kept my husbands car for 2 months and still didnt fix it, he had paint on the inside that was not there before, 2 different headlights and the busted the seal on his car causing water damage on the inside of the car. the took the money from my insurance and did not fix my car. unexplained miles on the car as well as a new scratch on the bumper, this is my 2nd review the first we were told to take it down or they would not finish my car. i will be contacting a attorney. save yourself a headache and money and go somewhere else read more
