Denny does good work and at a staggering low price. For the work I had done, which was to repair some damage from a piece of tire that was left in the road by a truck, cost me about a tenth of what I would have paid at one of those insurance affiliated places. Where he saved money was in the parts. He got the parts direct from Mazda but, he did not over inflate the cost as many other shops do - Denny was totally transparent about the cost as well. I got the parts for what he paid for them. This job would have cost ten times what it did had I gone to one of those slick, trendy looking places (cough) Gerber Collision (cough, cough). Denny is a good a guy and he will work with you. He has a nice little shop including a paint booth and a small lobby area for waiting while your car is being worked on if it is something minor. 12/2/2016 - I had another minor repair to my wheel well where a small piece of road debris cracked up the inner fender well. Denny once again took care of business and had me out the door at a tenth of the cost the dealership wanted. Denny has been in this location for many years. The place was under a different name up until last year. Don't let this low-key place fool you. Denny knows what he is doing and can do it cheaper than any of the "big box" body shops in the area.

Freeman Mill Road Paint and Body did a beautiful repair in less time and at a worthwhile savings. Other quotes required replacing the lower paneling and a much longer time in the shop. I am usually a sceptic of reviews but I am glad I took the chance of doing business with Freeman Mill.

When I first took it in, they said it would be about a week. When I called after a week they said it would be another week. Then I was told, "Friday at the latest." On Friday I was told, "Next week". I specifically asked if someone would call when it was ready and was told, "Yes." (Despite being told that they would be sending updates, I received no updates. They said I had opted out of receiving texts, but I always request text updates from businesses). Monday at 4:30 I received a call saying, "We're wondering when you're going to come in, we close at 5:00." So, I guess this is you telling me my car is ready? AND, when I went to get it, the battery was dead (the lights were on). AND, they hadn't inspected it. Everyone was pleasant and polite, but....

I called them on day 6 when I received the text stating that my vehicle was in "reassembly". When I called they advised that they are waiting for a part and the car would now not be ready until 2 weeks later, however no one called me, I had to call myself to find this out. They finally called me at 3:30pm to tell me the car was ready on 9/3/25. I advised them that I would be there before they close at 5pm to pick up. Unfortunately I was not able to pick up that night , but went the next morning at 8:00am on 9/4/25. When I get there and started looking over the car it was filthy, one of the workers came out and advised me that they forgot about fixing my right tire and that the guy came out to fix it and got compound all over the car. He advised that they have to detail it again and this will take approxiamately 1hr to complete. UGH!!! Again they did not call me to advise me of this. I went to work and they called me in about an hour and half. When I get there this time I look over my car and see that the area where they supposedly had fixed was not flush with the rest of the car. Mike the worker there advised me that being that this was an aftermarket fender it would take 60-90 days of me driving the vehicle for the fender to bend itself back into shape. WHAT!!! I have never ever heard of such nonsense!! Then once I get in my vehicle I check my miles and see that they also drove my vehicle an extra 20miles. When I confronted Mike about the extra miles he stated "no one has drove your vehicle ma'am". Ok so I am making this up in my head right!! Then he states "Oh we did have to take it for an alignment...twice! I asked were the alignment shop was and he advised it was right down the street. When I looked it up it was 1.7miles away from their shop, twice would mean a total of 6.8miles. They were unable to justify the 13.2 extra miles used on my vehicle. I left and emailed the manager of this shop (Sabas Orellana) about all my issues and he advised he was out of town, and would not be back until 9/15/25. He asked if I could bring the car back on that date to get me to100%. However this is another 10 days I have to wait to get my car repaired. UNACCEPTABLE!!! Bottom line is this shop is for the birds!! It seems that they do not care about their reputation and company name at all. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND OR USE THIS SHOP EVER AGAIN!!! I hope that something like this never happens again to another customer: especially one who does not have access to online ratings and reviews. -------- I went to the shop yesterday (6/11) to get my car looked at because I noticed a sound the car was making. I took it to the shop and manager had an associate named Ivan to ride my car around and listen for the sound. Ivan told the manager what the issue was and the manager quoted me $192 to repair the damage and fix my car. I came in this morning at about 8:30am to get my car fixed. When I arrived they took my car into the servicing area. About 10am, Ivan came back out and said that he would need to do extra repairs to fix the car properly. Trusting their expert advise, I authorized the new service (which now went to $304) to get my car fixed. Shortly after paying this new amount, Ivan came back out and told the manager that there was more to fix the car. They took me in the area and showed me what was actually wrong with my vehicle and when I went back inside the manager quoted me $358 to fix my car. I feel like this was dishonest because (1) if the new issue was why my car was disabled, why was there no assessment to determine this BEFORE they did the unnecessary work on my car and (2) why tell me that paying $300 would fix my car and turn around right after I pay to ask for $350 MORE. Unable to afford the new price, I drove my car off the lot sounding much worse than it did when I brought it in. I feel like I was being price gouged and furthermore, I took my car do a different shop right after that and they told me that someone had emptied my power steering fluid. I think this was done dishonestly to scare me into having to pay them the additional $350 for the work. No one should have to deal with this type of dishonesty from a business. I didn't tell them what was wrong with my car; I trusted this business to do that for me. And I feel that my trust was misplaced. As for me, I do not trust them as a business anymore."
