First of all, the day was super nice, sunny, breezy, PERFECT and there will be tons of people trying to get you to rent bikes from them and this and that!! One of our friends started talking to a guy that works for this certain office and they are all the same but have different locations. I wish I would of gotten the guys name too but he hooked us up!!! $19 bucks for all damn day!!! The bikes were perfect too, no flats and we got the locks for our bikes for free. I feel its totally how you talk to them and they will hook you up, if you're nice, they will also be nice and work with you. When we do go back NYC, we will definitely go back to this location and hopefully that totally awesome guy will be there.

It would tip over every time he hit the brakes (rear brakes). The bikes were very uncomfortable to ride on, in addition to not being able to go up the hill so we would walk them most of the time. another customer came back with the chain off his bike right after he took off with it. I made a reservation on line, so the bikes were supposed to be waiting for us, however we ended up waiting 25 minutes as they were taking people before us. The worst part is the attitude of sales people when I asked them for a refund, the guy was trying to convince me I didn't know how to ride a bike. (?!) He was also difficult to deal with being Russian and having limited English. When we returned the bilked I wanted my ID back but he kept asking for an "order". He never gave any receipts, forms or "orders". I finally got my ID, which he was rude and disrespectful again in providing. Will never go back or recommend.

My boyfriend rented us a scooter for the last couple days of our visit to NYC. We needed something…read morethat could handle the freeway as we wanted to go visit some of the beaches throughout NY and NJ so he got the Honda Forza. Originally we had scheduled the scooter for the beginning of our trip but forecasts predicted rain and they changed our dates effortlessly when we called. When we got the scooter and road it around that night we noticed the handle bars were bent and it was effecting the handling pretty badly. Initially we we very upset and sent an email right away (11:30p). We were called back within 5 minutes and they had a comparable scooter (Vespa 250) delivered to us within 45 min that night!! Very professional and accommodating we will definitely be using their services again on our next trip to nyc and recommend them to our friends and family :) Also, in response to review below. Its a pretty old station, a bit worn and grimy as most train stations are here but relatively clean. No elevator, escalator, or AC so it gets very warm in the summer on that platform. Nice art above the stairs. That's about it.

However, the train itself is nice and cool once you're on board. No elevator or anything modern like that. The single entrance is in the middle of the block between Greenwich and Hudson. If you didn't know the precise location, you might miss it. Narrow stairs that are clearly marked for direction but New Yorkers don't give a shit about that so you'll be fighting the traffic of people on the wrong side as you lug your suitcase down the three flights. At least there are handrails! At the platform level, two ticketing machines and a staff person who can maybe help you figure out what you're doing wrong and call for help if there is any trouble. Christopher Street is an island platform that is not as narrow as some. It is on the New York side between 9th Street Station (towards 33rd Street Station) and Hoboken Station (towards Journal Square). There are a few benches and a monitor that lets you know the next two trains are not the ones you need. I got a cell signal on the platform but there is no wifi.
