During the week, campers will work with a choreographer to perfect two dance routines -- one to a musical theatre show and another to a pop song. Between dance classes, campers will rotate into improv and arts and crafts classes. Each week culminates in a performance of the two dances in front of a very packed crowd of thrilled parents and relatives. The head counselor August is awesome and the staff and CITs follow his enthusiastic lead to deliver an incredible experience for all of the campers.

Debra King and Aaron Thao run the Hudson Ballet Theatre, which most of the students participate in. Kids also take part in many outside performances such as DanceFest with performing arts educators who have performed at Lincoln Center, Kennedy Center, London Olympics. This school actually gives kids great opportunities, not just learn the dance recital routine. Some names to mention: Katie Jo Flanagan and Ashley Flanagan, Katie Eshbach, Eliana Wenick. I have studied and performed with with FRAN for years and she is a true and talented professional with very creative choreography.
