The sales experience was excellent - very nice and did a great job answering questions. The shower…read moreinstall itself is nice, however, they left us with a mess of a project. We were led to believe that everything would be finished and we would just need to paint. The first time they left, drywall had not been installed (just the studs) and there was a large hole in the ceiling of the bedroom below the shower. The light in the shower was hanging by its wires because the installer used hot glue to try to keep it in the ceiling (his words). They acted like everything was all set so we contacted with pictures asking if this was what they considered finished. They did end up coming back and very messily patching the hole in the bedroom ceiling. We had to go back and redo it because it looked so bad. They also finally put the outside drywall up but did not do any mudding. So, we paid a lot of money for a project that we're ending up having to do much of ourselves, including paying for the proper materials to do so.

Install was poor, took 5-6 calls to get it fixed. It's been less than 8 months since the install and all the caulking is cracking and falling off, the windows won't open normally and we simply got scammed by these scammers. They ignore their "double lifetime warranty" as well, so just avoid

The work was fine, issue is the backbone of the company is not someone you can trust. Had an agreed…read moreupon price and then they tried to change that before the work started. Was recommend that we just do the base coat last fall and top coat this year. 60% was paid up front for the base coat so I expected to pay the remainder 40% for the top coat when that got done. Called to schedule top coat the following season and he raised the price 30% stating his costs have gone up. When I called on the phone to discuss he was rude, short, and hung up on me. Sorry but costs don't go up 30% a season later. Other reviews I read prior to signing up stated that that the owner was not good to deal with when it came to fixing mistakes or problems. I can definitely see how that would be true as well as screwing with people on agreed upon prices if the job is split up into a base and top coat.

Great Lakes Paving did our driveway at the recommendation of a friend, even though their bid was…read morehigher than competitive bids. The job required removal of an existing driveway, regrading and re-paving. While doing the removal and regrading, Mr. Allen commented that the asphalt was thicker in some areas than others requiring more aggregate to correct grade. There was no mention of the amount of additional cost. Final payment was made at the time of finish coat completion. To my surprise, an invoice with the line item "Extras" of over 12% additional over the original bid was received. There was no explanation of "Extras" provided with the invoice. While the quality of the job was certainly satisfactory, the business practices of Mr. Allen and his company were deceptive in the fact that cost overruns were not fully explained at the time the job was underway.
