I started out by getting a quote from Kevin, and i agree to move forward with his quote even though he was not the lowest. when i contacted them to move forward i started to work with Dan and he reviewed the quote and sent me a final in voice to put down a deposit to get on the schedule, everything seemed to flow pretty quickly from this point with guys at my house to paint with in a few weeks. (with no Notice from Dan) The painting crew did a great job, when completed i had to reach out to Dan for a final walk thru. the communication from Dan was poor after i sent my deposit in. Dan did finally set up a date for the walk thru, but before he came out he sent me the final invoice at it was over $3000 more then what was agree upon. i sent back the final quote that we agreed upon before he schedule the Painters. he told ne the job was under quoted at this time and the new quote is what i should pay! It stopped by a couple of days later for the walk thru and he was very rude and upset that i would not pay the additional $3000 he wanted. He finally said to me what do i want and i told him i would write a check for the remainder of the original quoted price. And he said some explicated works and slammed his door on the truck and left. Since then he has never sent anyone out to complete the punch items we had agreed on and i have not heard anything from Dan. There was also more then Half of a five gallon bucket and one gallon of paint left over and they did not offer to leave any paint at all. Thanks Lance

The projects were done right, and I could tell they cared about quality. Were also transparent about what they were doing, why, and how much it'd all cost up front which I appreciated compared to other contractors I've worked with in the past that were vague/shady. If you want an honest price with a clear appreciation for quality, I'd recommend.

I called…read morePreston to ask if he'd take a look at it to let me know what needed to be done to repair it correctly. I was in a bit of a jam to get this repair done quickly. Preston knew what had to be done, and he told me he would be able to make the necessary repairs quickly since he had another project he was working on nearby. The repairs ended up being more work than he anticipated due to unforeseen conditions, but he did what was necessary and quickly like he said he would. In addition, Preston was very professional and pleasant to work with. I will use Simon Construction for other construction projects in the future, and would recommend them to anyone.

He started the job when he said he would, worked hard, and finished on time. He cleaned up after himself, even going so far as to wipe out our new cupboards, and sweep our new kitchen floor. He's very reasonably priced too. The quote we got for windows from the place advertising as THE CHEAPEST was $7000 more than we paid Pete!

Not within a 1/2 hour. On the dot like he was set by an atomic clock. So were his subcontractors. As a homeowner who has waited 1/2 a day for guys to show up this was so nice. Pete was respectful of our house and effects, helpful and informative and articulate. He replaced an old linoleum counter top with new laminate and replaced a sink. Both the plumber, Steve Brillinger, and Richard Jordan, the laminate installer were wonderful. Finished on time, within budget, and it looks fantastic. Nicest group of folks that ever worked in our home.

It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. John was very thoughtful about the project,…read morebringing up issues that we hadn't considered and that other contractors hadn't mentioned. He offered his opinion but deferred to our preferences and worked to find ways to make our project less expensive. In fact, even though we ended up ordering new cabinets for the desk rather than re-using existing cabinets (because it looked much better) and he did some additional work, the job came in less than he estimated - the first time we've ever had that happen! John was great at keeping us updated on when materials would arrive and allow him to start, and accurate with his estimates. He worked around our schedule and cleaned up at the end of every evening, always making sure that things were safe for our three-year-old and pets. He did several extra small things at the end, such as rewiring some switches in the hall for us, and did them at no charge. John worked very quickly and his work is fantastic - very high quality. You can't even tell that the project was a remodel; it looks like it was always here - which is exactly what we wanted. I can't recommend him highly enough. We will definitely be using him again!

He gave us ideas on making all the unique features on our house stand out and restore them to how they would have looked before.
