It feels more like a curated collection of whatever treasures they have at the moment, which makes it really fun to explore. I ended up finding things I never would have searched for, which is honestly my favorite kind of bookstore experience, kind of like thrifting but with books. There is some small seating, more decorative than group seating, so it is not really a place for big study sessions, but it is definitely an aesthetic spot to wander through. They also carry a lot of other cute items like art from local artists, vintage goods, and little gifts, which makes it feel extra special and community focused. Their mission is what really makes them stand out in the community though! Every book you purchase, whether child, adult, in person or online, they donate a book to a school in need! I love knowing that by expanding my daughter's library we are also helping out kids right here in Cincinnati who may not have access to new books without programs like BMLP.
