They are the best! I had Dr. Harel and I had a great recovery from 4 wisdom teeth extractions. The staff were very friendly as well.

Today I had my follow up. The staff and doctor were friendly and professional. I would recommend for patients to be seen by this practice, but I am still concerned that they did not send me a check as requested and promised fir my over payment. That was my money and the office should not have anything to say as to why they would like to keep it on account. In the end I did get my refund minus the credit card fee. read more

Came in for tooth extractions and had no issues. The staff is great and the nurses too. The ladies at the front desk also were very helpful. I wish I could give 10 stars I had to get a tooth extracted. I had a huge infection and no other place would do it. I'm so lucky I found this office through my insurance. Everyone was so nice to me. Very caring and professional! The staff at the front desk, were super nice. The assistants were also very nice and made me feel very safe and comfortable. Dr. Camille made me feel so safe. She explained everything from beginning to end. She had so much compassion for what I was going through. I'm already referring my friends to them for dental implants. I had rescheduled my appointment before hand and had to get a baby sitter for my new appointment date and time and pay 30 bucks an hour for my 3 kids so I can make this appointment . Once I get here they took everyone else in before me and I was suppose to be the first appointment . They tell me that my appointment was the last appointment date I had scheduled and they didn't see another appointment in the system . I hope they didn't charge me for the appointment that I canceled before hand . They said they can squeeze me in but I was waiting for a hour because of their mistake . They also told me they might be able to do it the same day on the phone but when I got here it was just a consult which is another way of getting money out of your Insurence when other places I went to just did it the same day especially if you have pain like I do and especially when you have a referral like I did . So I don't get the point of the consult . When I got to the room to see the doctor and addressed my concern she just continued talking like I didn't say anything and did not address my concern or even apologize for the mix up . If you have a child with special needs I would not advise going to this place. My son is incredibly fearful of medical/dental visits and requires a staff person just to coax him out of the car. He has been accommodated this way on every medical visit he has ever been on. Apparently, this place claims that it would be a liability for them to go out and do this, thereby wasting our time and effort at getting there. In addition, the waiting room was the size of a walk in closet, and packed with people. There was virtually nowhere to sit, and probably would have sent my son into sensory overload. Finally, the paperwork was onerous, and had to be done by phone prior to the visit. Maybe the dentist was ok, but we never got that far. read more

Great staff and Dr ( Dr Marquis). I called on Monday and was seen on Wednesday for a wisdom tooth extraction. Just my luck they had an opening for a few hours later. The staff and Dr are THOROUGH, explain EVERY step ( with options) and the procedure was so quick and painless. I will NEVER go anywhere else. Thank you guys. Terrible and unprofessional. I confirmed my appointment with them on Friday for my Monday appointment and when I got there Monday for my appointment they said they couldn't take me because I never confirmed for this time and this day, I did and I had actually shown the woman at the front desk my cell phone to prove it after she kept insisting that I never called to confirm actually calling me a liar. If this is an indication of how this office operates I am so glad I never made it in to see the oral surgeon. This place is very, very unprofessional and these people at the front desk should be fired!!! read more

Incredible team, incredible experience, amazing overall. Don't even bother with any other dentist. From the moment I called Nutley Oral Surgery while writhing in pain from an impacted wisdom tooth I was immediately put at ease by the wonderful Cherie. I have worked in people facing positions for my entire career and I could count on one hand the number of people I have met who were as compassionate and hospitable as Cherie. A lot of medical professionals will brush off the anxiety that many feel when getting procedures done. This was not the case, every concern I had was eased, even my irrational ones. Let us not forget the wonderful Dr. Marquis who was knowledgable and empathetic and the utmost professional and from someone who knows nothing about the medical field, an awesome surgeon! I could go on about each member of the staff because honestly everyone was awesome. While yes, getting teeth taken out of your mouth might not be great, going to Nutley Oral Surgery got me as close to great as humanly possible. 6/5 rating. A++++. Gold stars. read more

I had an appointment with their office to have my four wisdom teeth extracted under IV sedation. Dr. Marquis started and then aborted the procedure stating that I was not tolerating it under light sedation. She referred me to come back and she would still do the procedure under local anesthesia or use nitrous gas. Or that I could go to Rutgers Dental school for general anesthesia. She gave me pain meds and antibiotics because she made incisions on the left side of my mouth. I was told by her office staff to come back on Thursday at 3:45pm and she would extract them. As I was in route, the office called back and said to come tomorrow at 3:00pm because Dr. Marquis had to leave early because of an "Emergency". So, I arrived to be seen again and all of a sudden I cannot be seen again because it was on a tentative basis (which the receptionist never stated) and someone was already schedule for that time slot. They offered no resolution for their mistake. I've been in pain since Tuesday because the incision where the wisdom tooth on the left side is open and oozing. read more

I have had many experiences with dental procedures in my lifetime this was without a doubt the worst experience I have ever had I was asked to pay $495 for X-rays and an MRI before I ever saw a dentist or even a nurse after I agreed to pay the money in advance the techs who were trying to do the X-ray I had no idea what they were doing and after 20 minutes all of them experimenting with the X-ray machine I took my $500 check and walked out I have never in my life been asked to pay in advance in a doctor or dentist office before the dentist even looked into my mouth how did she know that I needed X-rays and an MRI I really don't know the dentist name because I never saw her but I understand her name was Camille for all the dentist new I may only have had a cavity I would never recommend this office to anyone as a matter of fact I am filing a complaint with the state of New Jersey read more
