The yarn shop was larger than I expected and I purchased a lot more yarn here, than at the crowded festival. I even bought some awesome fluffy pom-poms at a reasonable price. I was returning to Toronto from a girls' weekend at a lake house in CT and included the shop on my route home. I was planning to only allow myself 30min, but stayed for over an hour. I came away with some lovely yarn for a new project, an extra skein (just because it was a gorgeous colour), a cute project bag and some stitch markers to share with knitting friends. I had a wonderful chat with Jodi, who is recently retired from her teaching career and the new owner of the shop! There were so many great colors to choose from! I had to make a quick decision because I was short on time. The woman who helped me was so gracious to wind the yard right away and check me out. Two days later I went in again and the back part of the store was abuzz with everyone knitting and laughing together. What a delightful place!
