Mind you this is my first time at this place so I have no clue! I tell him that I have a urology appointment at 11:30 but I have to have an ultrasound first, is this the right place and he says yes radiology is down the hall to the right. Sit in waiting area for 10 minutes to get registered and the lady says you were supposed to go to 23 Hackett blvd Urology. Proceed to Urology stand in line for five minutes to get registered only to be told I can't have the ultrasound because I'm ten minutes late. I asked if I could still see the dr at my 11:30 scheduled time and she said the PA said no because she doesn't want to see me without an ultrasound but we can reschedule you! The whole time while I was being told this the girl was smirking at me like it was funny. well I wish kidney stones on the whole entire nasty front staff and the drs for thinking my health is a laughing matter and not relevant enough to still be able to see the dr or PA that I've never seen before! It doesn't matter whether you complete the online pre-check or not. The people at the desk tend to be short-tempered and unsympathetic. I've witnessed several events where someone had traveled some distance to find that there is no record of their appointment or it has been cancelled. When this happens, the admin people are completely unhelpful. Check-in people spend a lot of time typing on their computers and avoiding eye contact with the slow moving and growing line. If you can get past the front desk, it's a pretty good experience from that point. If I wasn't already in treatment with a provider that I really like, I'd consider going elsewhere.

I underwent a prostate biopsy in June 2025. It was done through the rectum, while almost all other…read moreurologists (as I learned afterwards) stopped using this method as it has a high probability of infection. Sure enough, my prostate was infected with E. Coli and I am still (in October 2025) on antibiotics and it is unclear when will it be resolved. After the biopsy that detected cancer, instead of ordering a Pet Scan (to detect any spread on cancer beyond the prostate) as any other urologist would do, they insisted on an office visit just to tell me that I need a Pet Scan although I called them to request one. Their only concern is to charge my insurance. They don't care about their patients. I am treated now by another urologist. I would give the Urology Group of WNE 0 stars if it was possible.
