This place has continued to get better under the new ownership. I have gotten to know the guys, and they're great. Al and Andy are very helpful, and are constantly trying to improve their stock with interesting, unique, and excellent items. The craft beer selection has remained stellar. Breweries from the local area as well as from the rest of the country are well-represented and always updated. These guys know their bourbons and scotch. This stock is constantly updated, and their stock often includes things I can't find elsewhere. Their cigar selection is quite good for a liquor store, and the cigars are perfectly humidified. Never received a dry or cracked stick from them. Finally, it is clear that they are attempting to make this more of a boutique experience with the layout and stock. What can I say for a liquor store that has what I want? The prices are similar as others in the area. And if you ask they are more then happy to point you to what's new . Suggestions to new products I tried were a big hit. The difference is the service. After a few visits I can say it was a great experience each time. They made great suggestions each time and were very happy to help me with my questions, orders and even helped me to my car. Wow. ..maybe it's the people. Saw some new reviews about management/ownership change and thought they deserved a second chance. A huge improvement! Very clean and neat. Shelves were stocked full(actually think they had new fixtures as well), loads of selection and surprise! Friendly people. Well done. One gentleman, owner/manager(?)asked if I needed help. I really LIKED this wine store. I really did. In terms of liquor/wine selection in Secaucus its the best place to go. The only other liquor store I'd recommend in this part of time is the one off the Meadowlands exit and for me, they are a lot less convenient. The only reason I'm giving this place two stars is the lack of respect for their customer. I am currently parked in the lot in front of the store waiting for the owner to arrive and open the store. They claim to open at 10am but the time on my watch reads "10:43am". Under any circumstance I would give the people a break- stuff happens, no one is perfect. HOWEVER, this is the third time this has happened and I'm not going to stay quiet about it. This is a pathetic way to run a business and it can only mean the owner does not care about his or her own business OR he doesn't care about his customers. Neither is acceptable. This will probably be the last time I shop here. Oh wait. I think he just pulled up in his Mercedes Benz. Now there are three customers including myself waiting to get in and its 10:47AM. Not a bad liquor store but not great. I was disappointed as I thought it was the same company as Super Buy Right in Jersey City. Apparently all stores are differently owned. The selections are nowhere near as good as JC location and prices are all higher! It also annoys me that they advertise sale prices on many of the wines which are so bogus as the sale prices are higher than other stores. Their selection of Malbec wines is very poor and Shiraz selections not much better. It's an OK store at a pinch if you are in the area. I would rather drive to JC as the choices are less expensive and far more extensive. One good point about this store is the staff seem pretty friendly. read more

What a disappointment! When this spot first opened it offered a great selection of beer and great customer service, but in the past year and especially in the past couple of months this place has gone downhill. Expired beer selections,out-of-season selections and poor or no customer service. This used to be our go to spot for beer and wine but after today's experience we won't be back. We went in looking for the new limited Goose Island Bourbon release and the owner refused to sell it to us, saying it was reserved for his "regular customers". Word of advice, if you are going to discriminate against your customers you may want to pretend you are out of stock instead of blatantly refusing to sell to them. If you don't mind the quick drive, the Wine Outlet on Meadowlands Parkway or Stew Leonard's on Rt3 in Clifton are better options. read more

NEW OWNERSHIP! Outstanding cutomer service, selection, and price. In large quanities, I buy all types of spirits, wines, and beer. My 1st experience, I walked around the store to price items. I was approached and asked several times if I needed help. Instead of assuming I was being followed (which is usually the case), I engaged in conversation. Andy (manager) was so kind that we talked about all sorts of things. Since the price and selection were to my liking, I decided to shop. Andy got my shopping cart and pushed it as I told him what I wanted. Yes, he made lots of recommedations. Some I liked and some I didn't. I had specific items on my list, some of which were unfamilar to him. Honestly, he said he didn't know and asked the owner (Alpesh) who answered with a smile or looked it up. If it wasn't in stock, it was ordered. To let you know about the store's selection, some of my purchases have been sake, pisco, cachaca, amarones, amber wines, soju, beer, and various other spirits. All below or average price. When I walked in that store, no one knew I was going to make a large purchase nor did Andy know he would be pushing my cart for an hour. There are so many choices here on any type of liq, wine and beer, you may wonder the aisles like i have and take a little extra long. Thankfully theres a big parking lot too--i hate when i go to liquor stores and gotta park far away or look for a place to double park. I like Buy Rite and this is a brand new location on Rt 3 located next to the Olive Garden in the Mill Creek section of Harmon Meadows in Secaucus. Selection was very limited due to just opening that week I guess they pushed the opening to cash in on Labor Day. Surprisingly, the place wasn't very busy even though there are no major liquor stores in this general area. With football season on it's way (it's in the direction heading to the stadium) I'm sure this place will become a gold mine...now fill those shelves!!!! read more

I am definitely not a beer expert, far from it actually but you have to come here if you are a beer drinker. It has something for everyone and their craft beer selection makes your head spin without the scary prices. You can try a little bit of this pale ale or a little bit of that harvest lager or pick the IPA of your choice. The employees are knowledgeable and seem to love what they do. If you are not into beer they have wine and hard liquor for you. All in all a great experience and I'm definitely coming back. I didnt notice until it tasted off and found the label showing it had been 2 months past its best by date. Just was racially profiled ..so I am shopping at this establishment, I get to the register use My CC..cashier asked for ID..granted I look young..not only did he compare my name on the ID with the CC he waited until the receipt came out and compared my name on the receipt with my ID to make sure it matched...I wouldnt have had a problem if he followed the same procedure with the customer before me...I am so disgusted with this behavior I will never shop at this business again. read more

Buyer beware!!! Let me just start off by saying the store owner uses false advertising to lure customers in off the parkway. If you see the sign "we will price match any price in NJ "it's a complete lie. Not only was the owner unprofessional when I confronted him ,he didn't want to acknowledge the fact that he is basically using false advertisement to get customers. I will call BBB to let them know about this establishment. Its really not fair to residents in the town and surrounding towns. A bottle of bitters fell out of my cart, the ones they have have very large gaps and broke(also there are no baskets which is a little annoying). I apologized for it, and when I get up to the register the guy just adds it to my order. Doesn't say a word about it, not even a "you broke it you bought it." Giving this place 1 star and only for the craft beer and champagne selection. Once we found what we wanted today we went up to the register to check out. Asked if they had any discounts for the NJ Craft Beer card members and the uninformed cashier said "No, I think that is only for the Jersey City store, since our prices are already so low", ummmm I don't think so. They do offer discounts for members at this location but because she was too lazy to ask a manager she is giving wrong information to customers. Then went to pay and took out a Visa Gift Card. Informed her that there was $19 balance and would pay the remaining balance in cash. Her reply was "We don't take gift cards". Who doesnt take Visa Gift Cards!!!!! We go out weekly to look for new craft beer that might be in the area. Went here to get a bottle of wine before dinner one night a few months ago and wow was I impressed! I live somewhat close but I literally go out of my way to go here due to the selection. The beer selection is the best I have seen in the area, and the wine selection is also pretty large and very fairly priced. My wife really likes Cupcake wine so I buy a case for her once in a while. They charge $8 something for a bottle which is the best price ive seen around. The liquor prices are also super cheap. Customer service is good too, Ive actually met the owner and hes a friendly guy who knows his stuff. read more

I have been coming here for a couple years now and i love it here. They have such a vast selection and i'm very happy with the pricing. Since i have been coming a couple times a week now i have gotten to know the staff very well and they have introduced me to a bunch of limited items like Goose Island Bourbon County Coffee, Founders KBS, Terrapin Moo-HooChiato and even limited bourbons like the Van Winkle, Willete Bourbon and Angels Envy. They are really helpful bringing in products that you request which makes it so much easier when my wife finds her new wine of the week she needs.
