The store had a wide variety of furniture, of which it all seemed like good quality, and it was nicely organized. Thomas, was my sales representative and he was delightful. The search continues for a pair of new recliners for our home - Jerry met us after we arrived and asked what we were interested in and directed us to the section where the majority of their recliners were located and also told us we would see additional options scattered across the show room. We did a self-guided tour and tried out several models but nothing really grabbed our interest that required further answers. I thought the selection was pretty good and they do have lots of inventory, I appreciate that the sales team wasn't pushy and respected our request to check things out unescorted but still available to answer any questions. Think twice before you shop here and spend your money they don't take care of their employees and everything is definitely higher end but very expensive. They have a strict sales quote on fire people on the spot. We purchased a sectional and recliner from Hudson's in 2021. The fake leather that the salesperson told us would hold up better than leather completely peeled off the recliner. We went back to Hudson's to purchase the same recliner again because the sectional is holding up okay. With the furniture being out of warranty, we were hoping they would at least give us a discount since we are buying the same piece of furniture AGAIN. The best the salesman would do was to give us the sale price for the recliner. We found the same recliner cheaper on-line and asked them to price match. The salesman told us he would have to email the corporate office and would call us when he got a response. It's been days and we haven't heard a word. I ordered a couch Loveseat and Ottoman in June, received the text regarding the order. Called the store to question and to confirm my order and was told it was correct. Then I got a call, fabric was not available for ottoman, go in to pick out, can't find swatches. Just requested the same fabric as the couch. Also, was told that you have an ETA for delivery. So when time came close for that ETA date from June to September. NOPE we can't tell you when and where you furniture is? Loveseat and the Ottoman delivered in wrong color. NO Couch no ETA. Next the Loveseat came with the wrong cushions, the ones that I called and verified if was right on the order. It gets even better, she says I try to get just cushions ordered. NOPE. So the store says we will place an entire new order. It's December. I call to confirm the order and GUESS WHAT. THE ORDER WAS NOT PLACED. So she placed my order and I may receive by March of 2025. Left several message for the Regional Manger to return my call, NO return call. It will be a year in June, Very disappointed. read more

After purchasing two leather power recliners they changed the delivery date several times. We live in Florida so some storm delay is understandable but when we finally got our recliners, one arrived with a seam not sewn down. We sent pictures to the store and called the customer care team immediately. We were told by both that someone will get back to us. Waited, waited, waited some more and still no one has gotten back to us. If you read the BBB complaints you will see that this is what they do. They promise repeatedly to get back to you and then they just don't. Once they have your money- good luck. AVOID this store!! read more

Disappointing experience. We bought a lot of furniture from Hudsons in March, 2021. Everything was delayed. We bought it on an interest-free financing plan and we were not supposed to be charged until it was delivered but they sent the finance company the bill immediately and it took a couple of months to clear that up and get all the charges reversed until the furniture was delivered. Delivery was so delayed that we started taking items as they came in which was a bad idea since the financing plan starts at each delivery date for that item. Its now November, 2021 and we're still waiting waiting for 3 items and are now told that it will be January, 2022 before our order is complete. I was recently told that it was complete and ready to be delivered but when I called to schedule a delivery, I was told that 1 of the 3 items is still not here yet. Honestly, I'm not real happy with their business model when it comes to pricing. Most stuff was more expensive than other stores but Hudsons was always having a "1/2 off and free financing" sale so it worked out about the same as what other stores charged on the comparable stuff we looked at. I will say that the furniture that has been delivered appears to be well made (for the most part) and we are happy with it. I guess it has become the big three: houses, cars and furniture are painful buying processes but you generally like what you buy so a sad review is the end result. read more

In May we received our custom table minus the legs so we could not put it together it took another 2 weeks to get the legs delivered. Here it is almost August and we are still missing a piece. Overall, I would recommend this as a fairly good furniture store considering that I do not enjoy furniture shopping. The staff allows you to browse without badgering you constantly. Do not walk into this store. The prices they quote are not for the furniture you want to buy. It's a bait and switch. They quote a price.. give you a hard sell line... then when the furniture arrives it's the wrong furniture. They do not return calls so I had to go back to the store and then they tell me the chair that I thought I was buying was not that price. Told me my order was for a chair which they showed me but it wasn't even the chair I received. Didn't even have the chair I received in the store. So how could I have been quoted a price for a chair not even in the store. If I wanted the chair I thought I had ordered it was another $500. The beginning of July my husband and I went into Hudson's looking for furniture for our NSB condo. There were no customers in the store and when we finally found someone to help us but they were no help at all. They told us to look around and let us know if we needed help. We did find exactly what we were we liked but chose to go home to Altamonte Springs and see if there was anything else. DAN could not have been nicer! He spent so much time with us as we went back and forth with colors! OK! So everything gets delivered and looks wonderful. Last night(Aug 31, 7:00) we drove from NSB to Ormond to get side tables. Same thing happened. We approached a salesman and asked him if he had a minute. We showed him a picture of the furniture and asked him what side tables he could show us. I was impressed with her knowledge of the furniture and her eagerness to help me find what I was looking for without being too pushy! I was also very happy to learn that they would not be charging a delivery charge for my purchases. We bought two bedrooms sets, two mattresses and just went back to buy our third mattress. Their sleep machine helps you pick the best mattress. I plan to utilize their designer, Karen and really view Doris as my furniture consultant. This experience was second to none. Jane cordially introduced herself, asked what we were looking for, directed us by manufacturer. After a few moments, she came over and asked us our motif, colors, etc. Advised I had lumbar fusion and laminectomy in my lower back. Instead of us walking the huge showroom, she brought us to a few couches by a few manufacturers. After just 3 sittings, we found the manufacturer that made us comfortable. We were then introduced to Karen, the designer. She had some great ideas. We had them come to our home so they could see our style. After a few days, we were invited to see how our living room would actually look. This was great! After we chose our furniture, we met with Craig, the store manager, unfortunately Jane was sick. There was no slack, he was able to pick up where we had left off with Jane and Karen. If you are looking for an excellent experience and a joy of seeing what it will look like before you get it home, plus getting a quality product at an appreciable price. I purchased a bedroom set from Hudson Furniture in Ormond Beach FL with sales man Danny. I questioned the nightstand to insure that we ordered tables and not 3 draw nightstand. I was insured by Danny that the order was corrected. I also made SEVERAL phone calls to the store and was told that Danny would fix it. I also made a trip to the store as well to insure correction was made. Danny insured me order was correct. So after waiting a good month and a half maybe more. I received the wrong nightstands. So I contacted the store and was told that so sorry for your luck but you will have to wait another month for night tables. I also emailed Danny with my frustration regarding this matter and his response was ETA of furniture and total disregard to my frustrations. Ormond Beach Store Poor customer service as well as very unprofessional. I will never purchase from Hudson again. I own a small business as well as I work for higher education and will never refer customers to Hudson. It is very unfortunate that Hudson carries quality furniture but the people who represent Hudson don't live up to the same values. read more
