This location is in a shopping center so there is ample parking. Walked in to warm service ready to help. I was new to the city and the venue so didn't know what to order. The cashier recommended the Magoo sandwich and she did not fail! That was the BEST chicken sandwich I've had. I was two huge bites in before I thought to take a picture. The fries were "okay", although I prefer mine with a bit more crunch- that would have gotten them a "great". I wish I had the time to have eaten there twice. Staying close by and needed a quick lunch. Liked the chance to have chicken tenders either baked or fried. Ordering was easy, meal was good, and price was just right. Tenders were perfect and went well with the dipping sauce. Fires were average, but Texas toast was a nice bonus. Would definitely recommend if in the area and need a quick meal. read more

I was on the fence about whether I should give a three or four. The employee took my order was very polite and very helpful as this was my first time. I was craving a salad, so I ordered the buffalo with breaded tenders salad. When I tell you that they toss those tenders in a ridiculous amount of buffalo sauce, I am not kidding. My salad was in edible. The greens were fresh, the salad dressing is made in house and delicious, but those tenders were soaked, swimming, drowned in buffalo sauce. Quality tenders, albeit swimming in sauce. Such a disappointment for my first experience at Huey Magoos but I will try again, only I will never get Buffalo tenders there again. Service was top notch. They were patient while I made my selection since it was my first time visiting. We sat outside and the food was delicious and cooked to my specifications. The wait staff walked around, greeted us and checked on us on a couple of occasions. After we were done, they even came around to clear our table even though it's not a server type of restaurant. It was a great experience and I will be going back. They have salads, sandwiches and strips...maybe more. You can get them grilled, fried or sauced. Hard to mess up chicken and fries. Let's talk about their unfair labor practices. Huey Magoos advertises $9-$15 an hour (including tips). Aside from ringing up the food and a 10 ft walk to bring it to the table, there's no interaction that warrants a customer to tip. Huey Magoos is fast casual. I consider it abhorrent for employers to avoid paying livable wages to their team. Pay your people more. Don't ask me for a tip. If you can't run a sustainable business without taking advantage of your customers AND employees, you don't deserve to be in business. Fries too salty. Chicken greasy. No paper towels in the bathroom. Teenage employees don't care. As a former restaurant server and bartender, I won't be back. read more

I decided to try Huey Magoo's since I was at the Pearl outlets doing some shopping. I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap with the pepper jack cheese with a side of fries and a large sweet tea. When I came to the window, I was given the wrong drink first off. I understand mistakes happen; granted when I told the young lady at the window about my drink being wrong, she gave me my correct one no problem. Secondly I asked for an extra ranch and I was charged $.65 extra, which is fine but when I opened the ranch there was hardly any in there. The ranch was about a quarter till empty. When I opened my food, to my surprise the buffalo wrap was DOUSED in sauce. hardly edible. Very soggy & very messy; not to my expectation at all. If this is how this restaurant runs after just opening up, they will not be receiving my business anymore. Nor was I given my receipt for the order when told I would receive it at the second window where i received my food. But overall food quality i would rate 2/5 for sure. Only reason I wouldn't rate 1/5 is because the girl at the window handling the food was so nice, and they gave napkins in the bag, which is nice! However, even Zaxby's is better than this. read more

The food is always great but the staff at this location is HORRIBLE! I came in with my friend (so just two people) at around 8:45 and they had locked the doors. They close at 9:30 and there were other customers still in the building. Instead of sending someone out to talk to us they kept shrugging at us through the window. Food taste great, but the customer service & speed of receiving your food is "poor." Okay so the first time I went, the drive through line was super long. But there were 2 cashiers standing outside walking up to the cars taking the customers orders. So Im thinking "cool. This may be like chik fil a where the ppl stand outside to take your order & the line moves right along." NEGATIVE. The line still moved slow az hell. I waited in line about 45mins. So when I "almost" made it to the board to order my food, one of the girls walks up to my car & asks me what I want. I told her that this was my first time there and I needed to see what was on the menu. She says to me, "Okay whenever u pull up the menu let me know when you're ready" & then walked off." I just stared at the back of her head for a few seconds while wondering why she didn't even attempt to tell me what was on the menu or show me a menu. Shortly after I ordered my food & left........
