The staff is very friendly and helpful and they go out of their way to assist you with your selection of eye wear and to make sure you are satisfied with your selection. Alice has always been amazing and knows just what suits each patient's needs in eye wear. She is most helpful in explaining all of the available options to the patient. My sister drives almost 3 hours to receive this great service as well. I really appreciate their flexibility in getting me into their office in a timely manner if I ever have a concern with my eyes or glasses. The front receptionist has always been there to assist us with our appointments and insurance claims. Dr. Pflueger has been very welcoming and takes a sincere interest in the patient. This was probably the best visit to an eye doctor I've had. After filling out the new patient paperwork, I only had to wait a couple minutes before they took me to get started. Dr. Long was very pleasant and patiently answered my questions. He explained throughout the eye exam what the various steps and tests were for. The exam itself was thorough but not unnecessarily long. They sell glasses in house, but unlike some other practices, they gave me a copy of my prescription up front so that I didn't feel pressured into buying from them. I did browse their selection and really liked it, so I plan to buy from them. The salesman was very pleasant and answered my questions but left me alone to browse without hovering over my shoulder the whole time like some are known to do. I did not purchase glasses the same day, but I plan to go back and buy from them, so I'll update this review when I do that. In summary - can't recommend these folks enough. I don't know if a visit to the eye doctor can be enjoyable, but if it can, then this one was. ***Update - I did go back to buy glasses from them. The saleswoman was very helpful and patient and they were ready quickly. Insurance and payment was painless. Highly recommended!

She talked me through some things that could help with wearing my contacts too long, etc. Also, while the glasses I chose were super expensive, I also really love them. It was a frame I had found nowhere else! As for the front office staff, definitely very friendly but very disorganized. When I was first contacted by Krista she had to get my husband's social and I gave that over the phone. Then she asked me again when it came appointment time; turns out she did not write it in the system. Thankfully I had it in a note on my phone. Not something you keep on hand! Secondly, I was charged for glasses before even being fitted for them. Lastly, it had been 2.5 weeks since I had my appointment and did not get a call that my glasses were ready. Sure enough I called the office and they had them....just didn't notify me. Returning here is up in the air for me. While I had a good experience with the doctor, paying as much as I did for glasses and not having an entirely good experience left sort of a bad taste in my mouth.
