There's a pond for swimming paddle boat rental. Horse shoes bags basketball and a playground. You can rent golf carts to go on the trails or just drive around the park. Pet friendly. There is a swing set and trails to walk or ride a bicycle. A shelter house is handicapped accessible with a party room and a porch with picnic tables. The view of the river here is one of the best. The river is wide. There's a dam that has a good flow of water for fishing. As a kid Dad took our boat through the canal locks which looks like you can still do that. Don't forget a walk to the village of Grand Rapids. It's only .2 miles and it's a destination with cute shops and eateries. A campground and boat ramp are just to south of the park.

Most lots looked neat but some looked neglected, not sure if there are rules or guidelines on what and how much you can have on lots. Some had broken down grills and just a lot of stuff. The office looked lived in....as there were kids toys, clothes kinda strewn about. Well stocked with food though. The grounds weren't too bad, could use some TLC, weeding. Talked to long time campers, most are happy with new owners with hopes they get more help to staff store to keep opened during the season and not to close on and off(?) Not sure what that's about. Some concerns due to shortage of staff not being able to manage campground issues, security, maintenance and more activities for kids and adults. Would of rated higher if I did not talk to campers.
