My husband was referred to this doctor because of a persistent cough following a bout of pneumonia…read more This doctor was not friendly and did not care enough to read the reports which were sent to him. If fact, he did not even know they were in the file until he looked for them while we sat there. He still did not read them or even look at the CT. He dismissed us with the recommendation we see a cardiologist. We made an appointment with a cardiologist. Ten days later, as we waited for the appointment with the cardiologist, my husband was admitted to ICU where he stayed for three weeks, followed with three more weeks in general med/serg. It was entirely a lung condition the doctor overlooked, an abscess which ruptured. I will not share further gory details, but one of the hospital doctors said they had not expected my husband to survive. No, I do not recommend this doctor at all.

It was my first time visiting his office. It also will be the last. Several issues:…read more1. I had to wait for 2 hours, and after asking the nurse when the doctor is going to see me, she said I was next, and she said the same every time I asked her, after the 2nd hour I got tired of waiting so I told them I was going to leave in 5 minutes if the doctor didn't see me. So, I left after waiting the additional 5 minutes. NEVER SAW THE DOCTOR!!! 2. The front desk people are extremely rude! They make you feel like they are being imposed upon and demand that you wait, they will not give any answers, they claim they don't work for the doctor. The nurse came out with the usual forms to be filled out and after completing them I had to wait for a full hour before she called me inside the doctors room, they took my blood pressure but didn't know how to do it, I had to mention to the nurse that my arm is not in the proper position AND SHE SAID IT DOESN'T MATTER! My opinion? I would not go to that doctor if my life depended on it!

I've been trying to find a new primary care physician. I made an appointment with Dr. Edith…read moreJones-Poland for a physical exam. I was a new patient so they were about a month out. I waited a month, drove about 55 minutes to get to the office, and was thoroughly disappointed. Not only had they not booked me a physical (and not communicated that) but I was told that I had to boil my questions down to two concerns as they wouldn't have time to address more than that. The nurse practitioner seemed combative and rude. I was never visited by Dr Jones-Poland. I felt entirely uncared for and decided not to continue my care there, so now I have to start all over again and find someone new. :/

Dr. Edith Jones Poland is about the worst Doctor's organization I have ever been involved with…read more Her office is about billing medicare. Patient care is not part of the plan. I was called by the office staff to come in for a follow up from the ER after a serious dog bite. The doctor was not available, as usual. The nurse practitioner told me that she wouldn't look at it the wound because they had no bandages in the medical office! She just typed on her computer without even looking at me. From the look of her very long green fingernails, she is not doing any hands on patient care. It was a complete waste of my time. I guess they called me in so thy could bill medicare. Didn't seem to care one bit about me or the wound on my hand.
