If I ever have another plumbing issue, I know that I'm calling Brandon...I recently had a suspected leak at my house and started searching for someone late in the evening. Hughes popped up on Yelp and after reading several reviews, I reached out. I was able to easily self book an appointment online and some to Brandon on the phone first thing in the morning. He was incredibly responsive, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain things to me, all before ever coming out. He indicated a third party would need to get involved for my particular issue, and provided a local recommendation and contact info. Brandon even offered to come out at the same time as the third party to stay on the same page. Ultimately, I ended up not moving forward with Hughes for reasons that had nothing to do with Brandon. We recently purchased our first home, and have had 3 great experiences with Brandon. He came initially to check out a couple of things we'd flagged on around our property - he was chill, friendly, responsive, practical, and very straightforward. He fixed one minor thing that day, and gave us some advice on what to think about going forward. Since then, we've had him back to install a water line for our fridge and to fix our garbage disposal. For the water line to the fridge, he gave us two options for how it could work and was clear about the pros and cons of each. His price was reasonable, he came exactly when he said he would, and got the job done efficiently and well with no complications. No surprises anywhere. The garbage disposal was super minor (we probably could have sorted it out ourselves if we'd been more diligent) but he came out quickly and sort of last minute, and fixed it right away. I called various plumbing contractors for a leak repair of water supply line about two feet underground. This was my first contact with Hughes. Brandon asked me to send photos of the pipe system and provided an initial estimate which I considered reasonable compared to others I contacted. We own two rentals in the West Valley and recently discovered that our independent plumber was bought out by a large conglomerate noted for overcharging and up-selling their projects.
