On December 20th 2025, We were subcontracted by Xpress One Plumber to perform an inside slab leak detection. While I was on site, Johnny (the owner) stated he would pay the invoice online with a credit card. Since completing the work, I have made multiple attempts to contact Johnny and the office by phone and email, and have received no response whatsoever. The invoice remains unpaid despite the service being completed as agreed. It is extremely disappointing to perform professional services for another plumbing company and then be completely ignored when it comes time to pay the invoice. Businesses should honor their commitments and pay the contractors they hire. If this issue is resolved, I will gladly update this review. Until then, I would advise other contractors to be cautious when doing work for this company. Looking forward to a call from Johnny. read more

Johnny and his team were fast, efficient and helpful. While other plumbers were not available on the weekend (when every disaster strikes) they were there quickly. They were able to remove our busted water heater and replace with a comparable model without up charging and trying to coax us into spending more than necessary. They worked fast, showed me how to annually drain my new heater to extend its life, and were very friendly. They will be my first call next time! read more

It has been a hot minute since I wrote a review but exceptional service deserves an exceptional review! TLDR: easy & fast booking, amazing customer service, fast results and very good value for your money! I'm rarely give 5 stars for this type of service bc they lack the professionalism and service but not Xpress One Plumbing. They really do go above & beyond. I also love they're a local family owned company!! 100% recommended! we will be calling them if ever we need plumbing issues. The long story: our kitchen sink was suddenly flooding and I had sent out a bunch of messages on Yelp trying to get it fixed ASAP! Xpress One called me quickly and got someone to come early the next morning. Jonny came, took a look at our issue and educated me about getting our pipes hydrojetted especially before the holidays. He came back the next day and we haven't had issues since. Then we had him take a look at a small leak we had noticed from our bathroom & immediately, he knew was what was wrong. After a headache of a time with our HOA, we finally got the green light to get it fixed and Jonny & his team tackled a really tough job and got our place running brand new. I love that Jonny took pictures each time he serviced our house and educated us on what we should look for if we spoke with other plumbers. He also priced us so affordably we were shocked with how much we had to pay - in the best way! Everyone else we spoke with quoted us with double and honestly one place couldn't even find the problem correctly. We are so grateful for Jonny and the Xpress One team! The first contact with Monica went well. She was able to "put a smile on my face" and set up an appt for Johnny to come out to inspect my leaking sink. Something prevented the plumber to come out to the original time that was set so Monica called back to inform the update and I was fine with it. A couple hours later, someone else calls from Xpress and said that Johnny was running late still and could maybe come out but wanted to also offer a reschedule for tomorrow. This totally discouraged me to want their service. What you guys could improve on is to not beat around the bush by offering to reschedule. If you are telling me that Johnny can still come out BUT also asking if I want to reschedule for tomorrow tells me you really don't want to come out and that you want to end your day. I get it, Johnny is probably tired and exhausted but if he was stacked to the brim with work orders, don't offer anymore appts for the day. Giving false hope all day to someone who needs plumbing service is totally discouraging. This whole interaction ended with a frown on my face. I ended up calling Highsmith & Daughters Plumbing and they are in route now. read more

He was very professional, willing to show me what he was doing to fix the smaller issues, and he got it all done the day after I contacted the company. I got a quote from Xpress One for a tankless water heater over the weekend. John was able to come by within a few hours. They were quick to respond and they had the best communication and professionalism than all the other places. Their quote came in in the middle and the only one that sent me a written estimate. They were very clear and very professional. I would have felt very comfortable hiring them. He even gave me advice on what to look for when I get other quotes and he advised me to get a bigger model (Navien 240) instead of the smaller unit (Navien 210) that I was quoted from another place. Realized this morning that toilet was leaking at the bottom and my guess was that a worn out wax ring was the reason. I called Xpress Plumbing and got an appointment within the next 2 hours. John showed up after about one hour and confirmed that the wax ring was the problem. 40 minutes later all was done and fixed. Price was very reasonable. I hired Xpress One Plumber to replace our old water heater with a new tankless water heater. I had seen that some very large rebates were available from So Cal Gas Company, so I made it very clear from day one that I wanted to get that rebate. They told me that I could receive a $1,300 rebate on the unit they would install. The installation was done in December of 2025, and they filled out the rebate paperwork and submitted it for us. A few weeks later, our application was rejected because Xpress One did not provide the original receipt where they purchased the water heater. I contacted the office in early January and was told by Johnny that he would get it for me. For the next 3 months I called the office every 2 or 3 days asking for this information. They always promised me that Johnny would get back to me by the end of the day, but it never happened. Finally, almost 3 months later, he sent me an "invoice copy" of the water heater purchase. It looked like something someone had typed up themselves, but I sent it to the Gas Company. They immediately rejected it. Since then I have been calling their office repeatedly but never getting a call back from anyone. So I am out $1,300.00 and they have offered me nothing for all this trouble. Please be aware that they are not honest people and do not hire them. They definitely DO NOT stand behind their service. Johnny ends every phone call with "Have a Blessed Day" which obviously means nothing to him. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY! read more

My 9 year old water heater pilot was no longer lighting up after several attempts. In the past, it would eventually light, but this day, it stopped working. I jumped on Yelp and JMP came up. Seeing the 5 stars and reviews, I decided to give them a call and dispatch was able to schedule a tech out to my home within an hour or so. An hour later, Johnny came by and found out that he was the owner. He took a look at my water heater and determined that it needed to be returned. Before suggesting a new unit be installed, he checked to make sure that it was covered under warranty. Unfortunately, it fell out of warranty a year ago, so I had no other choice than to get it replaced. While he was giving me all of my options, I noticed how meticulous he was with how my water heater and lines were set up. He showed me that whoever installed the water heater in the past, did a piss poor job and asked me if I had any headaches or smelled any fumes while living here because the lines were not connected correctly. While talking to him, he mentioned that he used to be an inspector and this is just part of his nature to be very detailed. I eventually decided to go with a new water heater because it doesn't make sense to spend $700 plus to replace the pilot and this doesn't guarantee that the water heater won't break again in the near future. It took me a day to decide to go with a new water heater and he was able to fit me in the following day. During the whole process, he was very professional and kept my home clean by wearing booties and sweeping up any debris that might have fallen on to the ground. After about 4-5 hours, he was done and it's been about 3-4 months now and the water heater is still working great. Since their office is within 5 minutes or so from my home, I am adding JMP to my emergency contacts list. read more

Although very friendly, they were not very good at relaying messages when it came to checking status of arrival or calling you back to answer a question. Having had my home warranty fail me, Indecided to do a project on here. JMP was the first to respond to my project request. Their prices were more competitive than anyone else and they were accommodating regarding scheduling. It was easy getting them set up to come to the house. Johnny arrived near the end of the arrival window, which was actually perfect for me. He took a look at how my toilet had been installed, and gave me a masterclass on everything that had been done incorrectly (which is why he was there). He carefully demoed some tile, chiseled out some cement that had been added for who knows why, and then installed an industrial toilet flange. This thing is bolted into my foundation and that toilet is going NOWHERE!! All that work with some good discussion while he worked, and he was *STILL* the lowest bid out of everyone! Needing a plumber under emergency circumstances is NOT something anyone wants; however, if you do find yourself in this situation, I would only hope that you find a plumber as professional, transparent and fair as mine was. Our homeowner's policy was canceled because our mortgage company did not pay out of the escrow account on time. So, our homeowner's policy that I had had for almost 30 years was terminated and the insurance company is leaving California so they would not reinstate my policy. Searching for a new homeowner's policy in California is daunting to say the least. When my agent found me a new insurance company, they required a water leak detection system be installed for all the incoming water to our home. Our local plumber did not install these systems which lead me to my emergency search. I ended up purchasing my Flo Moen system through Home Depot and fortunately found a vetted, licensed plumber at JMP Plumbing. Johnny at JMP Plumbing was able to work with my schedule and provided high quality materials, as well as, an old-school professionalism that I have not seen for a while. He was an excellent communicator sharing what he was going to do each step of the way. He even encouraged us to observe his work and was always available if we had any questions.
