He rooted the pipes just fine but said it would cost $700 for a new toilet and $600 to install it. I decided to ask ChatGPT and it sounded like I might be able to fix the problem by replacing the fill valve, which I did for $20. I had two service calls over two days: one for a water heater replacement and the other for a whole house water filtration system. I have yet to turn the water filtration system on as it's going to prime over the weekend. Water heater tech was Christopher. I had him before to un-mess-up a sink install that previous homeowners had left in disrepair. He was prompt, friendly and professional and walked me through my options for getting a new hot water heater. I was initially hesitant about going with another natural gas model, but it was the easiest, fastest like-for-like solution for a unit that had failed last weekend. Went with the 10 year warranty so hopefully I won't have to deal with this again for quite some time. Water filtration system techs were Carlos and Angel. Again, prompt and courteous (right on time at the scheduled appointment). They had spent much of the day installing the unit and replacing piping from my main service line and properly installed the filter and earthquake strapped it. Left the unit in bypass mode before leaving for the day so that my wife and I could enjoy our newfound warm water for the weekend. Looking forward to Monday when the unit can be flushed of the carbon fines and made operational. I should mention that the value of both the water heater and whole house filter were on par with what I expected. The Halo H2 Zero unit originally sells for about $7000 installed, but TO Plumbing had quite a number of units in stock in order to avoid the you-know-who tariffs...so I was able to get one installed for $4000. Not too bad when you consider it has the potential to last upwards of 20+ years in my two person household. read more

I had a pinhole leak in my copper pipe. I located the leak for the plumber and he soldered the pipe professionally and without delay. my concern is with the cost of the repair. My charge was $806 for an one hour repair and one hour of discussing potential additional projects such as water softener and a new regulator. I've used this company before and had good experiences, which is why I called them again. The plumber was professional and the work was completed quickly and correctly. My issue is strictly with the pricing for this visit. I needed a simple, non-emergency gas shutoff valve replaced for my dryer during a weekday, midday appointment. The job involved unthreading the old valve, adding a short extension, and installing a new one. It took about 20-30 minutes. A very small opening in the drywall was made to extend the pipe by an inch, but drywall repair wasn't included. I was advised of the price before work started, so I did agree to it, but the quote was $525 for a very straightforward job. I didn't really have another option at the time, and if I had been there, I honestly could have done this myself. While the plumber did the job correctly, the pricing felt unreasonably high for the amount of work involved. Because of this, I probably won't be using them again. For others considering this company, I'd recommend getting multiple quotes first so you can avoid being locked into a price that doesn't match the simplicity of the work. I also want to note that I reached out and asked multiple times for a more reasonable price before writing this review. This honest review is regarding work I had done by TO Plumbing in November 2024. Previous September 2022 review was from a toilet repair project I had done, also by TO Plumbing, which I later found out did not mitigate the issue (after writing that review). I went with TO plumbing again on another job thinking I could trust them. Regarding later November 2024 work, TO Plumbing installed new quarter turn hot and cold water valves, as well as a PVC condensate pipe within a new laundry box. The PVC condensate pipe captures condensate from my AC unit when it is run on cooling mode. I had a second plumber come out to evaluate the work done by TO plumbing after discovering mold growth and soaked drywall. The second plumber drilled down to the root cause being a constant drip of condensate from a PVC section of pipe TO Plumbing installed. To determine this root cause, a second plumber tested sources of potential leaks that were my washing machine and AC unit. The PVC condensate pipe that runs to the laundry sink within the back wall of the laundry closet was installed loose and incorrectly. It was cut short and not stabbed into the drain hole. Also, & at a minimum to mitigate the damage, TO plumbing failed to slope the base of the laundry box to allow the condensate water running from my ac unit to fall into the drain hole. The constant drip of water created moisture, which led to a damp environment that was perfect for mold to grow. See pictures of removed drywall showing the extensive mold this issue caused. I couldn't find it until a year later because I could not see the area due to the tall and heavy washer dryer stack blocking access to the laundry sink. The drip was very small and it is not something I would notice unless I was looking for it specifically and moving the heavy equipment out of the way. I did not notice there was an issue until I detected a musty odor, at which point I got two people to help me move the washer dryer stack to access the laundry box at the back wall. Following discovery of the problem, I had another plumber come out in December 2025 to inspect and to do the job the right way. He routed the PVC pipe that TO Plumbing left open and suspended within my laundry box through the wall, and to the bathroom vanity sink drain behind, so that there was completely enclosed piping with no chance of leaks. Pictures of their work are also attached to this review. Also attached is a description of the work they performed. I am now looking at nearly ten thousand dollars in damage, if I am lucky. I have shed a lot of tears. I trusted TO Plumbing to do this job the right way, and they have proven that they are not a plumbing outfit that can be trusted, despite their years in business and other positive reviews. If proof is what they are seeking, to show they were at fault, the proof is in the original photos they took in November 2024 of the work they did where they left the PVC condensate pipe suspended (also attached, & you will see the wall before the mold buildup a year later). I had two other licensed and experienced plumbers take one look at that work & point out the PVC pipe installation being wrong. My argument is TO Plumbing should have never left that condensate pipe open. Again, I trusted them and their experience and they utterly failed me! It is also important to note in my case the pattern of leakage, with the mold spots and staining concentrated around the perimeter of the laundry box, as shown in the photos. If it had been a pinhole leakage within the laundry hose, then some puddling of water would have been observed on the floor, making the issue easier to catch sooner. My case is the leakage came from within the laundry box the initial plumber installed. The leakage was minute and very gradual, and that was being absorbed into the dry wall. This made the issue impossible to detect at its earliest stages based on location on the back wall behind the heavy and tight fitting equipment within that very narrow closet. The leakage, staining and mold growth pattern is evident from the photos I provided. read more

I'm so disappointed, I was clearly told on the phone that they normally charge $99 but they would waive that and give me a free estimate as my parents were new customers. Then when my parents decided not to go with them, they told them it would be $110. They said $99 was just for them to come out but to do the estimate was an additional $110 that only gets waived if you do the service with them. Complete BS. I hope they do the right thing and refund my parents back because I was told 100%. This would be a free estimate as we are new customers. read more
