It was a very expensive arrangement, and they made me pay for it in full, in advance. When I arrived to pick up the flowers just before the funeral, I was shocked by the terrible work. Most of the flowers had been replaced with cheap, low-quality flowers that were not fresh. The gladioli were completely closed and looked like stocks, and the colors were wrong. It looked nothing like the arrangement in the catalog. The girl who made the arrangement also lied about the flowers and why they were not the ones ordered. The invoice proved her dishonesty. I asked her to fix the arrangement and went back several times, but things only got worse. When I arrived just before closing, the arrangement still was not ready. The funeral is in the morning, and my beloved mother will have no flowers at her funeral. Hugo Flower Shop is very unethical and does not care about the community and its families.. I asked for roses and hydrangeas and received carnations and a few roses. They said they would paint gold accents on the greenery and instead they spray painted the leaves. Said he didn't buy the flowers there (he had brought them with him with the wrapper and everything) he had the purchase receipt on his phone and still nothing. There weren't any signs for no refunds or anything like that. They got in a big argument about it and it just ruined the sentiment. Basically the flowers here are in poor shape. I bought a bouquet yesterday for my mom's birthday and as soon as I got home and put them in a vase I noticed this really bad fishy smell coming from the stem and this one rose in particular. I called and they told me to bring them back the day of but I live 30 minutes away so they told me to call in the morning. I called they told me to leave my name and number and the owner would call me, she never did. I went in and the owner was so rude. She did issue me a refund but she was so rude about the whole situation. She wrapped them back up and placed them for sale again. Do better, I would always come here for roses but I'm definitely never coming back again. I see I'm not the only one that's had issues with the owner. First of all this is worst experience I've ever had ordering flowers! I ordered an arrangement for my sisters birthday and needed them delivered before she left town. When I contacted the flower shop in the AM they guaranteed they would arrive on time. Man it was the day of Mother's Day, and still needed to help someone get a special gift for their beloved wife. driving down the street I saw Hugo's flower shop, it was still closed so I called the number and got in touch with a very kind and respectful lady. she asked me what I needed and how could she help. I said it was an emergency, that I needed a gift and she said say no more I'll be there in 2minutes. and just like that she opened the shop asked me what kind of flowers and my budget. she ran in the back and made a beautiful flower arrangement of 4 doezen roses. The bouquet was missing the pink carnations and the vase is nothing like the red vase advertised. We got a cheap 99cent store clear vase. The bouquet looked nothing like the online picture! Flowers are loosely scattered. I called and let them know that they have false advertisement which is very wrong and that they need to update their pics if items are not available. Rip off!!! Went yesterday and was disappointed. Bought baby roses arrangement which i saw on instagram but it was not worth the price. Flowers were messy and not fresh. I also bought 2 bouquets of marigolds for $5 each and there were very few in a bouquet. I walk into stater brothers and find marigold bouquets for $5 each with double the flowers your bouquets had and bigger flowers and healthier looking. About a month ago i ordered a flower basket arrangement for a funeral and when i went to pick it up it wasnt ready due to a misunderstanding. Which was partly my fault but the woman that attended me was very rude to me not at all apologetic about the situation. Spoke to me with an angry look on her face and never once looked at me.
