I had an unscheduled c-section with the birth of my firstborn. My pediatrician recommended Dr…read moreKristen to us, as my baby was not able to turn his neck to one side all the way. As a result, we were having trouble nursing and his sleep was fitful. Dr. Kristen listened to my concerns and used a small actuator to adjust my baby. Within seconds, we noticed that he could easily move his neck and head. Over the next few weeks, nursing got easier and his sleep improved. Fast forward to my little one beginning to walk... (we continued seeing Dr Kristen on-and-off as needed throughout this time.) My son was an expert knee-crawler at 18 months old but would not walk for longer distances. He'd take some steps and drop to the floor to knee-crawl instead. Took him in for a routine adjustment and discussed this with Dr Kristen. She adjusted him with the actuator and we went home. That night, he stayed up late, standing in his crib, not wanting to sleep. The next day, our daycare provider said that he walked all day long. He's full-on running now! Dr Kristen has been invaluable to our family. She listens to you, discusses ideas that might help problems you're facing and is very nice to be around. It's also great that she will adjust me at the same visit as my son. Two for one, we both walk out feeling better. I have chronic low back issues and have felt much better since seeing her on a regular basis. She is a Webster Certified Practitioner, Activator Methods, N.E.T., Flow Practitioner Certification, SOT Technique, Diversified, and Thompson techniques. Dr. Kristen also specializes in pregnancy and pediatric chiropractic care. It's worth the drive to Burleson from Arlington for our family to see her!

I've used her services for two pregnancies and in the aftermath of a major car accident, and I've only ever been pleased by the results! My children and I were in a major car accident in October 2018. I had a broken shoulder blade and cracked ribs, my eldest daughter (5 years old) had a fractured leg, and my 3-year-old and 5-month-old were each pretty shaken up. Kristin didn't hesitate, and has been helping us all recover from literally Day 2, when she visited our house on a weekend to see us in our emergency situation! While the adjustments since the accident haven't been nearly as painless as the ones I've had from her in the past, I can ALWAYS come away with major improvement in movement and muscle/alignment stress. She's made a huge difference in my children's recoveries, as well. If I ever walked away from an appointment and had to call back later because I was uncomfortable, she insisted I return free of charge to make it right. The first pregnancy with Kristin (second child), my son, was the definition of an unstable lie. He was also nearly 3 weeks past his due date, and still doing somersaults like he was practicing for the Olympics. Kristin was able to adjust his position to head-down, and she did some tweaking that allowed him to stay in the correct position until he was born a few days later. The second pregnancy was somewhat similar in that my daughter, although head-down, kept shifting sideways, and my false labor pains were periodically quite severe. She was also overdue by about 2 weeks. Kristin worked past her office's closing time to adjust me through several contractions and ease baby into a better position for delivery... I went into labor that night, and delivered the baby the next morning! As far as her techniques, they are painless and effective. Her bedside manner is kind and caring, but also very knowledgeable. She will usually recommend the non-invasive and natural methods first, and knows plenty of resources in the area. As an aside, the main office also has a play room beside the main waiting room, which includes a changing area as well - it's a great resource for moms with other littles!

Not exactly the first impression you want from a restaurant. Overall, the service was WAY too fast for a Saturday night. We actually got our entrees before our drinks arrived. And I noticed the kitchen was all women, so leave it to the gals to be extra organized and on top of their game. But seriously, gals... try a little less hard! We'd like to enjoy our drinks before dinner arrives. We split the tomato basil soup (good - a little thick) and the French dip, which was incredibly tender -- basically fall-apart tender. Very tasty and VERY cheesy. My only suggestions would be a sturdier roll (it couldn't quite hold up to all that tender beef) and a little more bite to the horseradish dipping sauce. The happy hour is definitely worth mentioning. Great selection and really good prices if you get there before 6pm. And the bathrooms were actually nice, which always deserves a shout-out in a restaurant review! Overall, some good food and a great happy hour, with a few things that could use tweaking.

I opted for a s'mores latte. It wasn't quite as strong as I normally like my coffee, but it was still a fun treat to kick off the meal. I ordered the bacon banana waffle, and I have to say, this was the star of the show. By far one of the best waffles I've had in a minute. The caramelized banana and bacon paired with the waffle and drizzle of Nutella was = perfect. I will absolutely be dreaming about this waffle until the next time I visit. Our food also came out SO quickly, which was awesome. The staff was extremely friendly, and I loved that the overall vibe felt like everyone actually wanted to be there and genuinely enjoyed their jobs. Only downside was the parking lot is very small, so you may have to find street parking or garage parking if it's busy. Also I did think it was a little warm in the building but it's also summer in Texas. Definitely will be back to try more of the menu!

As expected it was pretty busy when we got there for brunch on a Sunday and were told it'd be a 30min wait for a pay off 2, but thankfully e we were able to find seats at the bar. Because the place was so busy it was a little loud but it was still easy to hear each other as we conversed. The food has yet to disappoint in the last 4 years I've been dining here. The chicken was perfectly fried, my French toast was moist, the deviled eggs were creamy, and the cocktail was delicious. We'll keep dining here and bringing our friends for sure.

I made a reservation in advance requesting a booth (since it's a tad quieter) so we could visit and have a nice long lunch having driven so far to meet up and celebrate. We were sat at a table - right next to a very large group and it was so loud we couldn't hear anything we said to each other, I asked the hostess why we were sat at a table and no effort was made to rectify the issue. My husband and I have both made reservations and table requests in the past and have never had an issue. The spot is usually held for us. And the hostess did say she saw my request on the reservation- apparently just ignored it. Then came our server. Bless her for trying but serving at a restaurant is NOT her gifting. She was very very slow to arrive (over ten minutes seated before she showed up) and she immediately got my drink order wrong, when I told her she just stared at me and grabbed my drink and came back with the correct one but a lemon and not the lime I requested. When I asked for my lime - she literally walked back with it IN THE PALM OF HER HAND!!! Three different times she removed food or drinks from our table without asking if we were done with them. She was never apologetic or kind when she made a mistake and really seemed very unaware of the "service" job altogether. My friend and I are overly nice to service people. I still tipped her very well! But the lunch was a disaster from start to finish and NOT the first time experience or birthday lunch I hoped to provide for her. We started with the goat cheese appetizer- it was good as always tho a tad too much garlic. My friend got the chicken melt after asking our server several menu questions and not getting clear answers. And I went with the turkey chili but it was too spicy for me so I took it home. The server asked if I'd like some additional chips to take home with it and never brought them. We have long loved Whiskey Cake and this wasn't a good look at all to have my friend as a returning customer. The server who brought out our appetizers was very lovely- and when she stirred the goat cheese for us and got oil everywhere, including on me, she apologized profusely. Mistakes happen- and her response to it was professional and kind. And THAT is the star I'm giving. She gets the star. The rest would be a very sad zero.
