Food: this one hurt me Texas steak scrambler flavor was all there the steak was as chewy as gizzards. Took a min to get it all chewed. I ordered one pancake and it was as tough as leather even after drowning it in syrup i tried to get through it but after a few cuts to the roof of my mouth I tapped out!! New in town and browsing yelp looking for a breakfast spot and found this spot and had to give it a try. I was not disappointed! When we arrived the parking lot was packed, a good sign. To my surprise we were seated immediately and Ashley had our drink order in no time flat. Once we ordered our meal it was only about five minutes before it was in front of us. Everything was made to order and delicious. Ashley and the staff were all attentive and pleasant. The prices are more than fair and the vibe is homey, felt like going to family dinner honestly. Stopped in at Our Place in Burleson and immediately felt like I walked into a family kitchen. Kat was our waitress and she was absolutely awesome --friendly, attentive, and on top of everything without hovering. The food (I had the breakfast sampler)? Just like mom made it. Fresh, comforting, and cooked with care. The owner, Otto, even came by the table to chat, and mentioned his son was running the front of the house. The service was fantastic as ever and food came out super quick even though they are always packed! Late lunch on a Saturday, unfortunately the trade off for no wait was they sold out of the special. Menu was lengthy so hard to decide but went for CFS and the chopped steak and onions. Daily soup was a creamed veggie and was very good. Found the honey butter for roll to be a little more dessert like so actually ate that after the meal. All in all good food and great service. Okra was really good, slaw is a broccoli slaw version so not as well liked by my picky eater. Both mains were solid and as expected. Food seems to be well cooked and on point for the expected taste of the item so solid choice for home cooking style menu! They do offer large number of salads and an expansive side list so appreciate the variety. Would go back when next in this area. read more

Stopped in for breakfast on our way from Minneapolis to Austin. It was about 6:30a and there were a good amount of tables. Food was great, we had the chicken fries steak, omelette and Texas shaped waffle. The portions are huge, plenty of food to eat. Coffee was really good too and I always had a full cup. This is the best breakfast in Burleson. There is almost always a wait but it moves super fast. They offer indoor or outdoor seating and both are covered and enclosed so you're not in the elements. They have an extensive menu and offer lunch as well but the breakfast is hard to pass up so it's what we typically order. The staff are very attentive and they keep your coffee cup filled up. The 2 egg breakfast is our usual choice and the home fries are so good! read more

I had the Cinnamon French toast and a side of ham and it was delicious!!!! The reviews don't lie this place is fast, efficient and delicious. Our drink server and watriess were amazing. They have one person for just drinks only and another to take the food order. We sat outside on the nice patio and they had a fan running outside so it didn't feel hot at all. The coffee was super hot and very fresh. The bacon was crispy; just as I asked. The avocado toast was good. The buttermilk pancakes were okay. Despite how busy it was it seemed like we got seated fairly quickly and the staff was on the ball on everything. We had the hardest time picking meals because everything sounded so good, and all the food coming out to other tables looked great. I settled on the CFS breakfast and omg! Hands down in the top five best I have had anywhere. I'm from Texas, I know good CFS. You could tell just by the breading this was not any kind of precooked frozen meat thrown into a kitchen fryer. The gravy was good, but lacked a little something I can't quite describe. The whole meal was huge and none of us could finish what we ordered. I've been wanting to eat here for awhile now! My nephew's say, it's good! I see lots of people posting on Facebook too! I was in Burleson visiting a local church, Open Door. I decided it was time to try Our Place! Called in my order to a receptionist that answered with enthusiasm. She was ready to help. She was excited to hear of a new customer too. You don't hear that often. The restaurant has a clean parking lot with lots of parking available. The restaurant depicts an oversized two story home with lots of great places to take pictures. Spacious patio seating is available as well. Hospitality is great! A gentleman came up to me an said, Have you been helped? I said, yes, He asked, if I would like a complimentary drink while I wait? I was like, "Yes, Please!" So, he brought out a sweet Tea. My Tea was strong, just like I like my men. Lol! However, it needed a little more sugar. Not complaining. It was free. My order took a little bit but, no worries, I had my sweet Tea. While waiting, I went to explore the gift shop. This was suggested by a waitress because, I raved about how much I liked her T-shirt. The gift shop was filled w humuorous hats and Tees. It's incredible small so don't blink. I ordered the Mini plate of Chicken Fried Steak and Mashed Potatoes. It came w a oversized roll shaped like a muffin which, is able to give you a Muffin top. Lol! Meal included a complimentary bowl of soup while supplies last. It was a Mini meal but, it was not mini at all! The price was mini too! My steak was huge and breaded nicely but, I didn't care for the taste. So, I picked the crust off and ate cubed steak and dipped it in gravy. Gravy was good! Now, on to the mashed potatoes. Potatoes were fluffy, whipped, with a shuttle taste of Sour Cream. Mashed Potatoes could have used some salt though. Let's roll on, to the roll now, You should have seen the size of it! It almost looks like a Smurf house. For those of you who are old enough to know who the Smurfs are. Lol.My roll was big and flakey on top. When I took a bite, you could here the crunch. Oh, and don't forget the butter! It was sweet like Maple Syrup but, it was actually Honey butter! Yum! Yum! Our place has reusable to go containers as well. When my order was brought out the gentleman said, "There you go!" He said, "Gravy is on the side so, your food won't get soggy". What a person of excellence! If your in Burleson, this is my recommendation.
