The interior of the building is GORGEOUS (im talking about the fish tank haha!) and I love how they have little teeeeny tiiiny samples of lotions and stuff too. It's so cute! I had to come in for my eczema on my hands last year and it was a very troubling experience. Prior to my appointment with Hull, i had multiple appointments with mercy hospital's urgent care teama nd they misdiagnosed my eczema 3 times in a row. First time as a staff, then second time as fungus, and then third time as SPIDER BITE? Thats how bad my eczema was. I was under a ton of stress, due to the tornado situation that happened last year. So it contribued to my eczema which like destroyed my fingers. My doctor at hull (i am so sorry i don't remember her name she was petite and blonde and very nice..?) was like "oh yeah that's eczema!" and she prescribed me clobetasol and like. i kid u not... it cleared up in like a week. Now whenever i start to flare up (it happens during the summers but last year was just super duper bad for some reason (like i said i think it was the stress..) i just put a little of the clobetasol on my hand and wear a glove overnight and bingo bongo its gonezo hehe. :D SO thank you doctor who I can't remember the name of off the top of my head because it's been a year since I've seen you uwu. I didn't make it past reception. The reception guy didn't greet me - just wanted my name and birthdate. Very rude! I took the time to give him the greeting of the day and ask how his day is. The Aesthetic part of Hull Dermatology is an oppressive, unhappy, rip-off. Cheryl Hull doesn't care that she has thieves. First treatments with a skin care club are great. They get shorter with each treatment. My hour treatments turned into 10 to 15 min treatments. Ripoff. The software system used by this care team must be impossible to use. Receiving staff can't look up from their computer screen to greet people and their personalities have been removed because of it :-)). Haha. The staff acts mad because people show up. Horrible staff. Nothing fun or pleasing about this place. For the cost of this frivolity, the staff should act damned happy to see people walk in! LOL. Scheduled an appointment, but could not get one until September. My primary doctor sent multiple referrals on my behalf, Hull claimed did not receive them. I hand delivered a referral and they said that it was not received. They wouldn't return my calls, so I went to Ozark Dermatology and had appointment within two days. In my time as a patient with Hull they have scheduled me for the incorrect treatments (which I found out mid treatment), scheduled the wrong dates and called me 30 min before my appointment to cancel because the material for my appointment wasn't ordered in time. I joined the Monthly program at Hull Aesthetics and so far I have experienced great/excellent services for the hydro facial, the Diamond Glow facial, and the derma-plane procedure! My skin was rejuvenated and dead skin cells were removed. I also have seen Dr. Laura Battle for a troubling spot in my lip area that turned out to be a cyst. For what it's worth, I don't normally write reviews on physicians. They're allowed good/bad days just like the rest of us, I guess. However, these incidents did not sit well with me and, frankly, are scary if I'd had life-threatening issues. I moved to the NWA area approximately two years ago and needed a dermatologist for severe and painful skin issues. My initial appt was in Hull's Bella Vista office. The waiting area was packed and I was apprehensive with the seemingly herding mentality of the office. How many people could they cram into a short span of time?! Was this just a busy day? Once inside a private exam room, a nurse (?) looked at my hands and feet, a woman breezed in, looked at my hands, ordered a biopsy, and never even introduced herself. It took a matter of a minute perhaps. My head was on a swivel. The surgical assistant came in and hole-punched a piece of skin from my palm complete with stitches. When questioned, he answered that Dr. Hull was the female that ordered the punch biopsy. Huh? That was her?! What?! I was placed on oral steroids and creams to get the skin issue under control. I looked like chiggers had eaten my hands and feet from the inside and it was getting painful. Not contagious. Good. But what was causing this?! I was then contacted to have patch tests run in the Rogers office. I did (after the steroids had done their magic) because I needed answers. Still no sight of the elusive Dr. Hull. I returned for results. Inconclusive. Ok, but where was Dr. Hull? Nope, she was never in the office. I was informed that Dr. Hull would contact me for follow-up. Nope. FOUR months later, a nice lady called me. She said that Dr. Hull asked her to contact me. I was nice to this innocent bystander and proceeded to kindly inform the nice lady that Dr. Hull had tasked her to do her dirty work and Dr. Hull should be ashamed for not having the guts to admit her remiss behavior to me. To me--a patient! Her patient! Someone in need of her medical expertise! Four months, three visits, and I had yet to have a conversation with the elusive Dr. Hull. My skin problem is worse and the hole-punch area in my palm is still sensitive. And I am waiting to see another specialist. Dr. Hull's office appears to be concerned with the herding mentality. Get in, get out, next patient. There was absolutely no bedside manner from her--zilch, nada, none. Shame on you, Dr. Hull. From the reviews, I see that I am not the only disappointed patient and your behavior may be norm. I should've read the reviews before visiting your facility. Shame on me. But, hey, you have a new office (?), a constant flow of retirees and aesthetically-inclined patients to pay for your herding overhead, and I am just one drop in your large bucket of medical charges. Your flippant, personal lack of care is shocking. Oh, and you're welcome! Your medical fees were timely submitted and paid quicker than your follow-up calls. Was Reffered to Hull Dermatologist. My appointment was in the Bella Vista office. My experience was not pleasant or productive. I had sun damage perhaps the start of melanoma. Where to start..... Reception was not friendly - give me your insurance and ID. Fill out give back. Technician or nurse took me back. Asked what are my issues. I explained and showed him my areas of concern. He left to get the Doctor. Doctor came in, was very abrupt, must have been having a bad day. I was expecting a black light or similar process to check for damage and thoroughly go over my upper torso. She looked at the areas I mentioned to the Tech. Said nothing to worry about but going to freeze those areas you mentioned. Put vaseline on them, wear a hat and use more sunscreen my assistant will talk to you - Bye. A total of 4 minutes or less by the clock. Probably less.... To say the least I was not impressed, totally an assembly line process, judging by the volume of people put through while I was there. If I wanted to self diagnose could have done that myself and actually did. I am checking into another office for a more thorough exam and advise you to do the same. Not sure if I have a problem she would have caught it. I don't go to a doctor unless I feel I have an issue. Which is rare. Unsettling experience. Will not use them again. read more

Avoid this place! My left forearm scar looks terrible from a mole excision removal. Embarrassing and I'll have to live with it the rest of my life. You can even see where the stitch marks were. They claim to be into aesthetics, but do not care how their excisions look on your body afterwards. They claim that this is normal, which I now full well it is not. Also, they'll bill you more for things after you paid them, $685, a year and a half later too! Another $145 for an excision that looks terrible. Around the holidays too! read more

Horrible experience at Bella Vista clinic today. Drove from Fayetteville for a 2:30 appointment checking in right before 2:15. Brought to my room finally where I waited until after 3 to be seen. I had expressed multiple times that I was there for a full body skin check due to some mole concerns. Someone finally came in, only wanted to see what mole I was concerned about though I mentioned again wanting to be fully checked. Just told me the 2 I showed her looked fine and was gone within 2 minutes. After I got dressed and left my room I saw her rushing around with her purse so it was clear she was behind and needed to be somewhere. For someone that expressed concern in moles plus a history of skin cancer in the family, it was totally disregarded. I never leave reviews but this is an experience I do not want others to go through if possible. That was the fastest 2 minutes I have ever thrown away a $65 copay and 1.5 hours of drive time. read more

Had nonspecific spot that was biopsied. Clinic called back with the results and recommended surgical removal. I asked to discuss other options and had an appointment with a physician's assistant that lasted 10 minutes. She said "The pathologist always recommends surgical removal-you certainly can explore other options." Received a prescription for a topical cream instead of surgery. Definitely was feeling like the recommendation for surger (which quickly turned into "no, you don't have to do surgery") was an attempt to wring as much money out of me as possible. The $150 charge for being told that I didn't have to do the surgery confirmed my feeling. I felt like the 10-minute "no, you don't have to do surgery-you can use this cream instead" advice should not cost $150. Good grief-now I feel lucky that I didn't have to pay to have the clinic call me and tell me my pathology results! Follow up visit was scheduled to see how the cream worked. I showed up to the follow-up visit on time-30 minutes later the physician's assistant came into the room to look at the spot that had been treated with cream. She spent 20 seconds looking at it (I am not exaggerating-20 seconds) and then said it was looking great and she'd like to see me again in three months. I had waited 30 minutes for a 20 second appointment, but it got worse when I was told I had to pay $146 for those 20 seconds. Enough is enough, I refused and canceled my next follow-up appointment. I will go someplace else. The business model of Hull Dermatology is clear. Maximize the amount and frequency of services to wring as much money out of patient as possible - and charge for everything possible. I'm wonder what insurance providers would think if they knew they were being charged $146 for 20 seconds of a physician's assistant's time. It's just wrong, and I'm not going to support that kind of scheme. There are plenty of dermatologists in Northwest Arkansas. My advice is to select one of them rather than Hull Dermatology. read more

I had an appointment for a Dermaplane and a Hydra-facial as they are touted as services you can get with zero down time. The staff was friendly, the person who performed the Dermaplane and Hydrafacial did not seem to be very knowledgeable. My goal was just to feel rejuvenated and have some dead skin removed. I should have known that when I felt a pretty good burning sensation on my face that the end results were not going to be good. Net Net, the Dermaplane which is essentially using a blade against your face in a scraping motion left scars on chin as well as part of cheeks I'm about 3 weeks out and they are still visible. About 2 days or so after the procedure my entire face broke out in acne. As and FYI I never had acne in my life. I ended up going to Premier Dermatology for a medical appointment, needless to say they were shocked at what happened to my face. They saw the scabs from the Dermaplane scars and saw the breakouts and put me on two weeks of antibiotics and I have to use two medical creams on my face daily. It's has gotten slightly better, but still not back to my normal self. If I could turn back the clock I would have not gone in for either procedures. Maybe I have super sensitive skin and I was not able to handle the treatment, but figured I would share my story as no one needs to go through what I did. My doc at Premier says no more facial treatments for a while! read more

I also had a visit with a dermatologist to look at my skin and she was able to recommend rentain-A cream which helps prevent wrinkles, blemishes and many more things! Had a procedure done here about a month ago. They were not as understanding as I expected. Fairly detached during the procedure and were completely unconcerned about post operative pain management. Didn't want to prescribe anything except OTC pain meds. The procedure was removing a melanoma the incision was about three inches long and about 2 inches deep on my shoulder it was very very painful. Never got a script from them and follow up was nonexistent. Will never use them again. read more

They said that the Dr can tell you whatever they want about billing cause they're in healthcare so there's nobody that holds them accountable. Dreadful experience. I took my 15 year old daughter in for severe acne. She had an antibiotic for acne but can not take pills very well. The intent was to get a medicine that she could take. We were prescribed a medicine that we were told we could crush or dissolve. After nearly 3 weeks of taking the medicine without any results; I googled and learned that it was not recommended to crush the medicine. I called the pharmacist who confirmed the medicine should not be crushed. I then called the dr and spoke to the same nurse we had during our consultation. I explained the findings and said that my daughter was not responding to the medicine which was met with near rudeness that I should not expect results within weeks even though my daughter had results with a pill before she rarely choked down and a pharmacist is telling me not to crush the pill. After questioning, the conversation ended that we should continue to crush or dissolve the pill. Not accepting the lack of admission from the doctor's office, I called the manufacturer and was told that crushing renders the pill far less effective and dissolving completely ineffective. I called the dr's office back, spoke to a different nurse who indicated a doctor would call me back. Next morning the same nurse called indicating a different prescription was phoned to the pharmacy. How differently this could have been handled with just a little bit of acknowledgement instead of an argumentative nurse and doctor that did not know her facts. read more
