Meet J. Alex Kelamis, MD and the Kelamis Plastic Surgery & Aesthetics team.
Dr. Kelamis is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon who grew up learning the value of hard work and good service in his family’s small business. He opened Kelamis Plastic Surgery & Aesthetics to best serve the people of Northwest Arkansas and beyond.

Meet the Business Owner: Joseph K.
Dr. Kelamis is a Tulsa, Oklahoma native who had the opportunity to attend Kansas University for his undergraduate degree and the College of Medicine at the University of Oklahoma. He completed a plastic and reconstructive integrated residency in the dual Johns Hopkins and University of Maryland Shock Trauma program in Baltimore. This unique residency experience gave Dr. Kelamis the ability to train at all the major teaching hospitals in the Baltimore area. He authored a number of professional research papers, several of which related to performing microsurgery, facial reconstruction, and facial transplants during a research year.
Following 7 years of residency training and 5 years of experience in both private practice and a large health system, Dr. Kelamis opened Kelamis Plastic Surgery in February 2021.
