While the Nurse Practitioner was efficient, my request to have the daily morning/evening routine and 3 different products (what to use, when) to please be written down, went completely unaddressed. I was handed a duplex printed paper which was like an "if/then/else process" with variability and not my specific products throughout, and it did contains chemical names, not my specific products. I have requested this each visit and am sure that I am not the only person who asks for more than just the verbal instructions given during the exam. It is reasonable to be specific to my treatment and not a guessing game left up to my interpretation. Instead of addressing my specific questions, and clearly listing the steps morning and night with the specific products for my personal treatment, I have to try to figure out what the heck and when to use what! I notice this hesitation to write down anything with many offices now and feel that it is a drop in service for whatever reason (liability-related?, laziness?), but it frustrates me unnecessarily. Additionally, when I call to make an appointment for my preferred location, I am met with pushback because of where I may have been seen the previous time, which I occasionally accommodate for scheduling reasons. Once they put down a preferred location and if I correct them that, yes, I did see them at the Lowell location, but I prefer the Fayetteville, there is an snark. I'll just add that I try to be pleasant, but due to this ongoing resistance, I am going to find a different practice. read more

The receptionist, thin, older lady at check-out is EXTREMELY rude, not friendly at all and clearly doesn't check insurance because she always tries to charge me the incorrect co-pay. Two small sebaceous cysts about the size of a pencil eraser were excised with six stitches both internal and external. I complained to the state medical board about excessive surgery who then requested a response of Ozark Derm. They did this surgery in spite of my phone call and in person question at the surgery date if they were going to open the cyst and remove the capsule. They agreed but ended up cutting a one inch wound in (both) places. I suspect this is a way to code the event and get more money from the Insurance company. In their response to the medical board an MD wrote in support of the PA that this is the way it's been done for decades. (That's the problem). Stay away from this clinic. read more

I've been a patient here for almost 12 years and I have been very satisfied with my care. I've had one 'bad spot' that required surgery in that time and it was taken care of entirely. Clean bill ever since despite being quite 'mole-y''. The entire staff is excellent. read more

Dr Matthews's did not listen as I attempted to advocate for my condition. I saw him on several occasions for minutes each time. He diagnosed me with psoriasis with a quick glance and prescribed me a harsh steroid. I tried telling him that I think it's something more with my health and it was affecting my vision. He told me he had studied for 20 plus years and it was just a skin issue. I then made an eye appointment and immediately got a correct diagnosis. It was my blood sugar and a Cadirrac in my left eye that has developed quite swiftly. Not only does the steroid that he prescribed cause your blood sugar to spike it also can increase the size of a cataract. Always always always advocate for yourself and know that our health care system is not here to cure you they make too much money off of us being sick. read more

After skin damage on aesthetic side, I was refused twice to see a physician. Was told doctor's won't see patients who experience damage from elective treatments. Afterward I was told I missed appointments when to my knowledge I never ignored any. The first one they came to that I "missed", I showed on my calendar that I cancelled and rescheduled so not sure what the issue was. Very dissatisfied with the office and aesthetic outcomes. They said my email change was not updated so they were sending emails to old address. read more

Pre pregnancy I saw Dr St Clair who was amazing. He took his time and was always thorough when explaining everything. Unfortunately he stopped seeing clients by appt when I needed to come back. I came for a couple years trying to get answers and help for symptoms I was having. I spent well over a thousand dollars with countless appt costs, SO many prescriptions that never worked, and a minor surgery with still....no definitive answers or solution. I called it quits when they wanted me to do a $800 allergy test that "may give me answers" even though another doctor stood there and didn't advise it! I truly wish I didn't waste so much time and money here. read more

Absolutely Horrible. Do not trust this disorganized office with your personal information. My daughters information was under someone else's name for months. Then when they finally fixed their mess up, they had the audacity to send me a letter saying I missed appointments. Obviously I had not because my daughter was on a medication that required monthly appointments. They just had their records so messed up that they didn't even have the right patient! I advise anyone who comes across my review to seek out a different dermatologist. I had been a patient at Ozark up until they decided to terminate my account without making me aware. The lack of professionalism is appalling and they were adamant that my business was "unwanted". Please seek better healthcare before resulting to Ozark, trust me, your business is unwanted by them. read more

Husband was diagnosed with Melanoma on his very first visit. Followed by surgery not too long after that. However, his surgery was not performed by Ozark Dermatology Clinic. He was referred to a Oncologist in Fayetteville for the removal of the Melanoma cancer. He has been cancer free since 2015. Dr. Sinclair thoroughly checks him every visit and makes sure there is no recurrence of the cancer. read more

My elderly mother went here for several years. They would only schedule her with the nurse practitioner, even though she repeatedly requested to see the doctor. She was told that they were too busy and the NP could handle things just as well. She had a spot on her nose that she kept worrying about, but the NP said it was fine. For several visits months apart she was told it was fine. Her regular dr saw it at an unrelated visit and sent her right away to a dermatologist in Rogers. They immediately sent her to surgery to remove the very large, very deep cancerous growth. It should never have gone that far, and it scares me every time I think about it. What if her regular doctor hadn't intervened? read more

I can't stand it when good doctors run sloppy business practices. I was referred to Ozark Dermatology by my primary care physician. They called me to schedule the appointment after speaking with her. Despite having good insurance, Ozark Dermatology did not request the proper documentation from my primary care. Had they taken 2 minutes to properly verify my insurance they would have seen the 1 step necessary to get approval. Instead, they led me to believe that everything was covered by my insurance and went ahead and removed some moles. then wacked me with an $850 bill and while trying to get the insurance to make an exception and pay them they went ahead and turned me over to collections. Greedy doctors running a greedy business. There are better Dermatology group than this one. read more
