I…read morespent my Jr High years at Athlos thinking I wouldn't like it because of the uniforms and well since it was a Charter school. I had gone to public school for all of my life before then and all of my friends were going to Santan and Bogle, but my mother wanted me to have the experience of going to a charter school. I was upset with her at first but later realized, it was the absolutely best thing shed ever done for me. Athlos isn't just a school you go to to learn. It's a school where everyone excepts you for who you are. The teachers treat you like friends and they actually CARE. In my past years in public schools I never experienced such an awesome bond with my teachers. After two weeks in Athlos I felt right at home and by the time I was in 8th grade I was dreading the last few months because I didn't want a new beginning in highschool. I believe that the amount of homework Athlos gave per student was fair. All they were trying to do was prepare us for high school.... Some kids say Athlos was a terrible school but when I would ask them why they thought that, they had no answers. Truth is, Athlos is AMAZING. You are respected by all teachers, kids and all staff. Education was great, they prepared me for high school and I truly appreciate that... Being a former student from Athlos was, as I said, an amazing journey. After two years with amazing kids, I was able to be apart of the 2013-2014 Athlos 8th grade family. To this day and on I know I can rely on them for everything. I am proud to call myself a Titan and always will be. I recommend this school to all who are looking for a new beginning and a memorable ending.:)

All Smoke and Mirrors! This school is very disappointing! My son was a Honor Roll student when we…read moremoved from Gilbert to Chandler. We checked out several schools in the area and decided to send our son to Legacy based off of the ratings and conversation that we had with the legacy office staff. One thing that we liked was the advertised focus on academics and the students wearing uniforms. Unfortunately the focus on academics is severely lacking! The ongoing communication between the teachers and parents is nonexistent, unless the parents contact the teachers. The amount of emails that you receive daily pertaining to PTO, Sports ,and fundraising is overly abundant. I wish one of those emails would have been about my child failing a class before we found out on the progress report. Lastly there is the dreaded drop off and pick up "Drive Lines!"... This drive line is INSANE!! There was definitely a design flaw when planning out the parking lot and vehicle pathways. Legacy doesn't offer school bus service so you are subjected to this scrimmage amongst other parents to enter the 20min drive line. Overall this school just didn't live up to "As Advertised."

Attrition rate seems to be low which is very good so that the kids don't have to go through a lot of change. The homework is fairly vigorous and you'll have to expect a decent amount every night (30-40 minutes). If there's one thing that I would have an issue with is the pick up scheduling and locations. It appears to be hit or miss whether I can pick up my son in the standard line up of vehicles or if I have to pick him up in the office. They also tried an app early on in the year and it didn't work very well. They stopped using it which is good as I think it caused even more confusion. Overall, a great school and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place for your kids.

I absolutely love this preschool! After touring two other preschools before our pediatrician…read morerecommended that we check out Carebear, I knew right away that this was the preschool for us. It just felt right. The teachers and staff are amazing! My daughter attended Carebear for three years and it was such a great experience. She really looked forward to going to preschool everyday. So many fun activities and she learned so much while she was there. When she started kindergarten, her teacher made multiple comments about how much she already knew and how "ahead" she was in reading and so many other areas. This was all Carebear- I can't take credit for any of it! This place is truly a preschool, not a daycare and I would highly recommend it to any parent who is looking for a safe, nurturing and fun educational environment for their child.

Owner and management has questionable people skills and education for this type of business. Sounds like other people and former employees had some sort disagreements with management and it did not end up well, i can see why. Good facility with good teachers but terrible ownership and management. Just trust what other people are trying to tell you about the ownership and their values. Do your homework. ****** Below is a copy/paste from other review as example ****** https://www.judysbook.com/members/101311/posts/2012/3/20376925 Be careful, they do have a few great teachers left. However, I have a feeling they won't be there for long. I think money is now the most important thing and the owner will do anything to stretch her dollars. Including canceling/combining classes. Ask about the Queen Creek & Alma School location. Ask about the Queen Creek and Dobson location. Ask if she has any law suits pending.
