Neglectul. They refused to speak to the ombudsman after encouraging me to make a report against the…read morememory care facility my mom was at. They wouldn't answer specific questions or give witness to the wrongs they saw. They acknowledged a lack of education on the part of the facility that lead to direct harm and refused to offer any assistance, share information, or support justice. They allowed the retaliative behavior of the facility to blind them and even tried pulling back the hospice services they themselves, just hours prior, had insisted she needed. I'm appalled and utterly hurt by the way they failed to help me and my mom as she lay dying or to give account of what they witnessed when doing so would spare others heartache and ensure the facility wouldn't be allowed to continue their harm. I was warned about them and ignored those warnings and have paid a grave price. Their services are a joke under the guide of caring. They're in it for the money and won't show up for you. Go with another service because Envision and their staff say they care but when push comes to shove and they have a clear and easy opportunity to do right, they chose not to. They're not going to provide you the care you need at such a critical time. Save yourself the heartache.

My mother went on Homecare after she was released from hospital, she wasn't strong enough to do…read moremany of the things she had done prior to hospitalization. She was extremely hesitant to go on homecare, didn't want to be a "burden" to anyone, family or hired professionals. After she met the nurse, Wendy, she agreed to try it for a while. Wendy was the best -- she communicated clearly, spent as much time as mom needed to explain things that were going on, and provided consistent care and communication with the doctor's office, updating them when there were changes, alerting him to anything that needed quick attention. The physical therapist was great as well. He provided the empathetic attention as well as humor to help mom want to do pt as long as she could do it. I could not say enough positive things about Wendy, and Alpine Homecare, they were such a blessing when we needed it. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs homecare services.
