My criteria for making this claim are routed from its cleanliness, accessibility, management, size and price. Located just 2 minutes north of Islington station (Islington & Bloor), this 14 floor building stands alone on the East end of Cordova Ave. You can't miss this building really...there is the most interesting statue of a mermaid ridding a horse right in front (picture attached). This may sound like a silly advantage for living here, but when you are downtown and too drunk to slur out "Cordova is one block north of Bloor" you can simply say " Mermaid riding horse" and you magically arrive to your destination. Another great point about the location is because it's close to Bloor you can take the vomit comet to and from the downtown core (even at 4am!) Many of the apartments in the area are severally rundown and have a bit of sketch appeal. This building is clean and all the hallways and elevators have recently been renovated. The suites are large and all feature hardwood floors with tons of storage, new balconies, and Water/Hydro included. My 1000 sq ft apartment was less than $1100 month.

On the last month, they notified me that rent will still be pulled "accidentally" as they didn't cancel it in time, but not to worry, they will send a check out right away. Well, on the date they stated it would be deposited, it wasn't deposited. I waited a few days in good faith then called in. No answer. They wouldn't answer my calls. I had to call with a 3rd party number they didn't know, Mark answered. I said hi, its me ______. What happened? He said oh sorry, it will actually go next week. Well, it was never deposited. They don't answer my calls, or my emails. They just stole a months rent. I have filed with RT and other agencies and I will be suing in small claims court Ontario to get my money back. Don't trust this company.

She hasn't been in the GTA for a few years, soo...I still called myself to chat with someone.) After following some prompts on their phone line, I found out that I couldn't even leave a voicemail!!! It said that their voicemail service was not "initiated". Ok, being a service and time-sensitive industry at that, it's really a poor sign if a potential client is unable to reach anyone! So hence my poor review. If I had left a voicemail and someone had called me back, there wouldn't be a need for this review. However, seeing how I was unable to speak to a live agent of the company, left a super bad impression of the company. Needless to say, I cannot refer this company based on being unable to reach anyone!

Horrible service!. My mom lives in one of the buildings they manage. Pool was under renovation for…read moreover 10 months and yet they charged homeowners during the entire time that pool was not accessable. Would have been faster if they put in a brand new pool. They clearly had not done their due deligence in interviewing and selecting reliable contractors. The two managers do not return e -mails or calls. They have this attitude as if owners have no right questioning things. They take it personal. My mom's window was broken for over 7 months and the ridiculous excuses the building manager would come up with about why they could not fix it, was insulting to any inteligent person. I had to make a formal complaint to CAO. Stay away from this Management Co. Waste of time and money. Hoping that their board of directors will start interviewing a more reliable management company.
