I met immediately with Dr. K (no long wait as so often happens elsewhere) and he went over what he thought was causing my skin rash and prescribed a couple medications to treat the condition. He was very professional and I did not feel rushed at all. He asked if I had any questions and explained things in a very easy to understand manner. We scheduled a follow up appointment in 2 weeks but told me that if the condition improved to just call and cancel that follow up. Would certainly recommend the office for any dermatology needs that one has.

I even moved from CA and fly in from Texas just to see him because he's always done such a great job, until now. When I came in for my filler in June 2025, the appointment felt rushed from the start. It usually takes about 30 minutes, but this time Dr. Lin was done in 10 minutes. A few days later, I noticed uneven, hollow areas under my eyes, which was something that has never happened before. I reached out to express my concerns and request a refund for the $850 I paid (which, by the way, used to be $400). Instead of any accountability, I was told by Lucy that refunds are not offered but that I could speak with Dr. Lin directly. Dr. Lin agreed to fix the issue, so I scheduled a follow-up and another flight from Texas, and another expense. But when I arrived in California, I found out Lucy had booked me at a completely different office (Sherman Oaks) instead of the Valencia office I've gone to for a decade. When I realized the mistake and tried to reschedule, as it was too far away for the time I had to do it. I texted back, emailed, even called, and I was completely ignored. Because of this careless handling, I ended up losing $1,400 in travel costs due to flight changes and extra expenses from the government shutdown. And to make matters worse, I now have to spend another $850 elsewhere just to get my filler fixed. I just want a refund of my $850. I can't even begin to describe how disappointed and disrespected I feel after ten years of loyalty. The quality of care and communication has gone drastically downhill since the switch to Unified Health. As a VIP patient, I no longer recognize this practice, and I will not be returning. I am deeply unhappy with my results and the way I was treated.

I called to get a refill on two prescriptions, and they never called me back. Then I called three…read moretimes to deal with an appointment and was hung up on twice, before connecting with someone. They confirmed that Dr. Lin is not even in the Valencia location one time a month and set me up with another doctor who has just started there, Dr. Wang whom I was told was a dermatologist, but when I looked him up, he is an osteopath and a family medicine doctor. So I cancelled that appointment due to the misrepresentation and have found another local dermatology group. This is disappointing as I have gone to Dr. Lin for many years and am happy with him but this new group management is horrible.
