They played in my face as if my presence didn't matter, while showing warmth and courtesy to others. No customer deserves to be treated that way, especially in a space that claims to serve the community. Coffee shops are supposed to be places of comfort and inclusion, but this establishment failed completely. I won't be returning, and I hope management takes a hard look at how they treat people of color.

No problem. But during the next ten (!) minutes the person in the car exhibited yearbook pictures to the barista and had an extended convo. After the person's single drink was produced this conversation continued with no sign of finishing. I'm waiting in my car getting more and more pissed at the barista's total cluelessness about customer service. Five minutes after the friend's drink had been delivered, and ten minutes total in waiting, I left. I've never had a bad experience at Jitterbean before this. But if I was a manager I'd sure want to know about this, so I called the company. The woman I talked to transferred me to the managers voicemail. I also sent an email to the addy on their website. Six weeks later I have had no response. I no longer patronize Jitterbean which is a shame as they're local. But they chose, in multiple ways, to treat a loyal customer poorly. Super disappointed

On top of that we asked for extra shots and ended up paying $10 for a 20oz coffee which ended up tasting like crap because they didn't add extra sweetener with the $4 charge for extra shots. On top of that when I asked for a little extra Carmel (so I could suck down my $10 coffee) they said they would have to charge for that also.
