I've never had such a positive experience with a vintage/thrift store. I felt like I had my own personal stylist and I felt like Adina was actually invested in the outcome and not just a sale. I called and they processed multiple transactions so that I could use my gift cards as I wasn't able to input multiples online. I also received a credit back as I ordered a few items from their fb page and paid my invoice on Sunday and then they decided to have a cyber Monday sale and offered me the discount. Not meaning that the quality is poor, but the the pieces are generally small, lower in price and easy to carry away than the competetion on the other side of the plaza. While well made, I would categorize the selection as a bit "cutsie," which for me is a turn-off. After 30 minutes of browsing, I found nothing to buy, which is unusual for me. If looking for a gift for a student there, this is the place to come. But for more mature tastes, I would go elsewhere.

The owner had to be called over the phone to verify the price. I bought the bag for $44. It was only a week, and the zipper started breaking. I went down there yesterday and the owner was present. I told her about the problem with the bag, and she remembered the exchange about the original purchase, but she refused to give me the other bag in exchange for the broken one. her reason was that I had been incorrectly quoted on the price of the first one, and I was only to recieve credit for that part and would have to pay the difference which was $40 more dollars. In no way was any of this my fault, of course. The shoddy over priced merchandise, her pricing error, or her hapless teenage employee who was just trying to help. I still was getting screwed by this old snatch with an overpriced junk shop. I took my bag back and left, never to return. Maybe I can glue it.

Yesterday, 6/18/24, my daughter and I were wandering around old town Eureka & we stumbled upon this…read moreamazing shop. This is a place you could easily spend hours in discovering treasures. The selection is truly impressive, from literal Victorian clothing, to 1970's disco jumpsuits. My daughter found a gorgeous dress with a black tulle skirt and red satin rhinestone embellished sash for only ten bucks! But the real star of the show was the girl who worked there & I wish I'd gotten her name. She had short dark hair & was the sweetest, most wonderful young woman. She couldn't have known how much her kindness mattered, but it did. We have just moved here & my daughter is having a tough time, worrying about whether or not she'll fit in or be happy here. This salesperson was precisely the kind of person my daughter admires and we talked briefly about anime and video games and...maybe it didn't seem like much to her, but it meant a lot to us. We will certainly be back. Often.
