My girlfriend and I went in to open a new account, you would have thought we wanted the keys to her house and we needed her to drive us there by how bothered she was that they were 'busy'. I simply stated that the lady who greeted us had already taken my card and info. She looked at me like I had three heads and stated real snarky 'well that's just to get you in the queue.' Then with a smirk on her face, while shaking her head, she snatched the cards off the desk to start inputting the info. That's where I drew the line and said 'nope I'm not doing this, I'm not playing your game.' I recently had a Trust packet done, which included a Will as Trust do and made an appointment to have it done. I mistakenly stated Trust thinking they knew it contained a Will as Trust do. My bad they had no clue. I was told they'd have their own witnesses, but they refused to sign anything that went with the Will. My parents bank, TD Bank did so with their own witnesses without an issues, a year ago. One of the employees then looked through the Trust and stated it wasn't filled out and if they notarized it and witnesses signed it I could not write anything on it. I had spoken with my parents as well as the kind people who put together the Trust for me at no charge who told me I did not need to fill anything out. I was told by the bank ladies I even needed to fill out Schedule A, B, and C or couldn't make changes. These are things that have to do with pets, personal belongings, services after death, etc. I mentioned that those say to make extra copies in case I want to add anything or change anything and they claimed I'd need an addendum and have it notarized again each time. That is false. There is no place on Schedule A, B, or C that says for a notary or witnesses to sign as she should have seen when flipping through the pages. My parents had none of that filled out beforehand and it was signed blank and they filled it out later. Some they still haven't filled out. Unlike the claim that is legal. I didn't fill in bank accounts to transfer to the trust because it stated each bank is different on how they want to do that. So I didn't dare add it beforehand. I possibly may be switching banks due to this problem. I am highly disappointed in the Wells Fargo Branch on Cheney Highway in Titusville, Florida. I sent an email to the Associate Personal Banker, Nikki, as well, who was there and she agreed with the other two. They need to do some research.
