Since I was out of town she texted that she would call the following week when I got home. Never heard from her or anyone else. My complaint concerned a facial tech, who was 15 minutes late starting, but said she would make up. How would she do that? Shortly thereafter, she wanted to add a service, and I asked how since she was late starting. She didn't answer, but insisted I would like it and it would only be a $30 up charge, and could I ADD IT TO HER TIP. I said I have 2 services how do I give you a tip so much bigger than the other lady? And she said "DON'T YOU HAVE CASH?" and I said, "no credit card". Then SHE ASKED IF I HAVE VENMO and I said no. Now she seemed angry. Next she said well it doesn't look like you need any extractions, what do you think? And I said no because who wants someone angry doing extractions on your face. Additionally having had facials it seemed to be she saved time by eliminating some of the facial steps she was supposed to do and that I paid for. This was not very relaxing or comfortable experience. And isn't she stealing from the Salon?? Is the deal that she uses their facilities, scheduling, advertising and maybe product and in return they split sales? (or something like that). If she is offering services off the books isn't she stealing from them, and wouldn't they want to know about it? The only friend I told about this said her daughter had the same late experience and when she complained BV said they would give her a discount on her next service and she said "There is not going to be any next service."

When she did the extractions, she was so thorough and gentle! I wasn't in pain like I have been in other places! She's so good with extractions!!! We were able to book a same day appointment luckily as she was having a good day. Facial and foot massage for Mom, facial for me. The lobby. A bit cramped and just a bench. The lovely lady behind the desk gave up her chair for my mom to complete her digital forms. These are the types of things that make it difficult for elderly people to enjoy places like this. There was a bench but it was much too low for her. After forms completion we were escorts to a changing area with lockers to leave our things. This was a clean area with plenty of lock boxes and even a shower. At this point we were ushered to our treatment rooms and the pampering began. After an hour of facial potions, steam, hand, neck, arm and shoulder rubs, a deep treatment on your hands including wrap and a warm glove to help the oil/lotion penetrate...it was over. I was pretty much a puddle, was hard to focus and my face felt like a new born baby. I was also surprised they didn't try to "sell" me anything. It was a pleasant surprise honestly. Nothing takes away from a good paper high than being hard sales pressured. It may have been a 5 star experience had there been some things to better accommodate elderly or people with mobility issues.
