Well, I live in Hawaii and travel for work. This place is where I eat any chance I'm working nearby, I make sure to eat here for their Beef and Broccoli. I don't know. I just like how much flavor it has and how generous they are with the freshly cooked broccoli. I give them 5 stars. read more

I had two flavor beef and chicken with veggies. Boy it was too sweet. I did not care for the texture of the beef. The egg drop soup was very thick. It was tasty but too thick for my liking. I had fried shrimp they had a good taste but were really small. I cannot comment on the rice as I did not eat it. It looked ok. Service was good. Honestly the worst Chinese food I have ever had. Zero flavor at all. Mongolian Beef looked like it was bought at a grocery store.

Service was slow. Food is average American Chinese. Saucy, standard dishes. Nothing spectacular. Prices are reasonable for portions. Do not expect authentic Asian cuisine. This is where you go when you want General Tso's, not Peking duck. read more

Order to go at 12:25. Arruve 5 min. Early expecting to wait in line to pay... 12:25 paying for food. Only to be told well bring it out when it's ready. 12:45. It comes out... but not all of it.a couple minutes later the rest showed up. I drive home to unpack only to find out our order is wrong. Passing through town and we like Chinese food; Americanized or authentic. Both have their places and times. Today was obviously a day for more Americanized. That's ok. I will agree with Mandy, the crab rangoon was the best I've had in a long time. The flavor was great. The hot and sour soup was also very good. My whole family loves hot and sour, so if it's not good, we all are unhappy. Not the case here. Really liked the diced green onions on the top! Yum! Hot mustard was great! It packed a lot of flavor in. We were all pleased with the entrees we selected. I had the kung pao chicken and found it to have the right amount of heat. Mediocre food. Nothing to outstanding over thickened sauce looks like snot and has zero flavor. Fried dishes tasted as though they weren't cooked fresh to order. Terrible service. Long wait time for takeout and sit down. At certain times I have been put on hold and then forgotten about. Tell you a 15 minute wait but sometimes it is over 30 minutes. Just bad management and customer service skills all around. Just keep driving and find another place to eat; not worth the issues. read more

We ordered 3 different meals with soups, crab Rangoon and egg rolls. Everything was pretty good. The egg rolls were fantastic. The Rangoon seemed like they had sat for a little while, so not the best. That is my only criticism overall. We would eat there again for sure. read more

Despite other reviews, I have nothing but good things to say about Hunans. The crab Rangoon is the best I've ever had. Their egg drop soup is also amazing with just an added dash of pepper. My favorite thing would be the sesame chicken. Serving sizes are big and the staff has always been extremely friendly. We have tried both, dining in and take out. I prefer take out just because Chinese food goes great with Netflix. Be prepared if you are ordering take out, they do get busy at certain times and can have a decent wait. (Never more than 45 minutes). When we dined in, we were served our separate meals with a family style serving of rice, which was great because it kept it warm. I also noticed they served wine and beer as well which I thought was nice for a date night idea. The design inside is really pretty too. It can get expensive but to me, it's worth the money. read more

If you stick to very basic meals you may be okay. I ordered egg drop soup and I feel like they put yellow food coloring in it. My mouth was bright yellow after one spoon of it. It was the worse egg drop soup I have ever had. I did order brocolli and beef and it was okay. Nothing special, tasted blah. I rather drive another 30 minutes to go to Jefferson for Chinese! read more
