But please don't advertise all your food and drink options if it's never going to be open or an employee around to check you out. Nothing like your toddler melting down because they want a juice and you can't find a way to pay for it. I love the baby animals and all the kids activities but until they figure out how to properly run this place I probably won't come back.

I went as a child and have been so fortunate to take my own child to Windmill for the last 11 years. Today, though, was our last day. $45 to get in for a family of 3 is nuts. Even if we didn't want the hayride, we still would've had to pay $5... $5 for the privilege of entering and spending more money. We felt so nickel and dimed the whole time we were there. You used to be able to pick out a pumpkin midway through the hayride, which was always our favorite part. They've taken that away because it "lets them get more people through the hayride faster," per the hayride driver that we spoke with (ie- we can make even more money, while offering a lesser experience). The cost of the snacks and drinks seemed exorbitant as well- $3.50 for a small styrofoam cup of apple cider?? Unfortunately, the charm this place once held has been dulled by their desire to just make money. The value for what you get for your money is just not there. All told we spent $65 to ride one hayride, eat some French fries/cookies and drink a cup of apple cider. We left without a pumpkin or any of the little decorative gourds we would've normally purchased because they'd already gouged us enough. Incredibly disappointed... I guess this long standing tradition has come to an end for our family.

There are about 30 rows, two sided, full of blueberry bushes with so many berries, it didn't feel crowded at all. They also sell by the pint, we did the math and the price is the same. Would recommend the experience and taking the time to do something different and pick them yourself. The berries are so good, we've been enjoying eating them daily and are almost out already! I made a blueberry coffee cake that turned out amazing too. Hope to return this season!

We were able to get some food and drinks and ate dinner while listening to a live band. Then we took our 2yo to see the animals, which she really liked. The pigs and the cows were far away on the other side of their enclosures, but we got to see goats and sheep up close! Then we did a wagon ride which was great! They had three tractors going with huge trailers with padded seats. The route took us through some woods and by some fields with spooky decorations throughout. There were A LOT of other activities available, and they all looked super fun. We'll probably be back when we have more time so our kiddo can try some other stuff!
