We came here the day after Thanksgiving and arrived at the perfect time! We didn't want to wake up…read moretoo early but we got there around 10am- an hour after they opened. There are parking attendants with huge candy canes to help direct cars and take carts back. Once you park, it's a short walk to a table with greeters that hand out saws to cut your tree down. This is by far the best tree farm we've visited. Last year, we went to about 4 and although it's the farthest, it's honestly the best. Not all trees are tagged so you may have to walk through a few aisles to find one that you like. They have a donut food truck that sells mini donuts, with choice of toppings, powdered/ plain/ cinnamon sugar, hot chocolate, hot cider and even cider slush. Just past the entrance, they have a couple of portable potties if nature calls. When it gets really busy, it can be hard to find a wheel barrel for your tree, so it might be a good idea to bring a tarp so you can drag your tree or you can carry it if it's not too big. Once you get your tree, you get in a line to get the leaves, loose needles shaken out and then wrapped. Pretty an easy process... the only thing is the time it takes to find a tree and waiting for your tree to get processed. The price can be pretty pricey. The cheapest tree we saw was for about $70 and can go up to over $130. I would be happy with a costco tree, but the experience of cutting down a tree is pretty fun (plus the delicious donuts). We've brought our dog once and noticed there were a lot of pups along for the adventure.

So glad we found CCC! Took my brother's kids w us and we all had a blast. I loved how things were…read moreset up: park, grab a cart, staff tell you to look for tagged trees only, and point out difference in trees, then you're off! They have three types of trees: Fraser fir, Korean fir, Concolor fir, and a great selection! We walked around and scouted out many great trees before sawing our tree down, throwing it into our cart and taking it up front for a good shake (to remove dead, orange needles) and to be wrapped for the car ride home. There were about 10 families ahead of us and I'm sure we didn't wait more than 10-15mins! On our way out we stopped by the donut stand for a bag of fresh mini-donuts and REGRETTED NOTHING!!! I'm pretty sure I ate five by the time I got home, and told my husband I can't wait for next year!! I'm so glad we found a great place to become our new family tree-selecting farm, and that they're family owned and good steward of the land!!

It probably deserves higher stars but the description "Meh. I've experienced better" is about right…read morein my opinion. I LOVED the ideas that they had of an open fire, a snack trailer, the horse-drawn carriage, etc. However I HATED the idea that each tree was priced individually and you couldn't pick any tree you wanted, they had to be tagged. Also, I get the whole lore of the horse & carriage/wagon thing, but it'd be soooo much easier if we could just drive our vehicle where we wanted like other tree farms allow. The horse dropped us off at the front of the farm and by the time we found our tree, we had walked around the ENTIRE place, where normally we could have driven. Not a big deal for us, but if you have little ones or have trouble getting around, be aware you're going to have to walk. My husband and I came out here to get a tree for ourself and a small (as in Charlie Brown - small) one for my mother. Unlike other tree farms who price by the type of tree it is, this place prices by the height. But there's a catch. If your tree is under a certain height, they won't let you cut it down cause "it needs to grow more" Yeah, just so they can charge you more. So we found our tree. A 7ft for 44 dollars (which is decent, competitive pricing, but keep in mind it goes up by the foot, ALOT). But my mom asked for something like a 3ft tree. She's old, and can't decorate a full tree so she places this little one on her table and leaves it at that. However, because it was deemed "too short" and therefore, not tagged, we couldn't cut it down or bring her a tree. Now I definitely understand the whole idea of "let trees grow for next year". I really do. But SO MANY of their bigger, full grown trees were extremely sparse on the bottom and through the middle. You almost HAVE to get a smaller one in order to have a nice, full tree, but again, you can't. It's a tough situation. We walked away that day with a much smaller tree than we normally get (due to the pricing), and no tree for my mom. So overall, I would come back here if every other Christmas tree farm was sold out/picked over. The atmosphere was nice, but the pricing/way they sell their trees was ridiculous. I wouldn't need to come back here. If you enjoy walking, money isn't an issue, and you want a tall, sparse tree, come here. If not, meh.
