This was after trying to put lights on the tree. The tree was purchased 11/29 at Broadview and the photo was taken on 12/4.

The farm itself is terrrific, however I agree that the trees available to cut are far too small and need a great deal of TLC. We also had to grab a precut from the pavilion so as not to have wasted our time (it does seem like the taller trees available already cut may have been shipped in). The tree we settled on ended up being so dry that the needles fell off more than what our past trees from our usual farm (that farm retired last year) looked like after 6 weeks being in our home. Although we won't return to Broadview, I do give them credit for standing behind their trees: they allowed me to return for a replacement tree at no cost (as anyone would based on this photo, I'd hope). We now have a healthy tree, albeit much smaller than we'd prefer, to get us through the season.

This is one of the better trees. Most are thinner than this.

Tree selection is the worst I have ever seen. Fields are vast and trees are untrimmed and misshaped. Very thin young trees and they consider an 8' tree one that has a single tall stalk off the top. I honestly can't believe they have any good reviews. No real selection. No variety of trees. Family tradition of 25 years hunting for a tree. We just moved to area. We are used to beautiful, full, well trimmed large selection of u cut trees. We ended up having to buy a pre cut tree just so it wasn't a completely wasted day. I am not a diva believe me. They need to close down for a few years to let the trees grow. The fields are a disaster. I could go on and on. I'd give it zero stars if I could.

Held a wedding here this past weekend and had an amazing time! Farmer Joe was laid back, flexible, welcoming and made planning a breeze. The venue is beautiful, especially at night with all the lights. We were easily able to hold our 125 guests and had plenty of room for dancing. The food building worked perfectly for our grab and go COVID friendly food display. There is a lot of freedom regarding decorations and how to use the space. As long as you clean up after yourself and respect the space, the possibilities are endless. I highly recommend this venue if you're looking for something easy, yet a esthetically pleasing. Thank you to Farmer Joe and his family for providing this perfect space!

So much fun. Hunt for your tree or sit in the shop and have hot coco... Fun for all. All sorts of size and types of trees to pick from.

Yes it was a wide tree and they were able to bind it

We came here the day after Thanksgiving and arrived at the perfect time! We didn't want to wake up…read moretoo early but we got there around 10am- an hour after they opened. There are parking attendants with huge candy canes to help direct cars and take carts back. Once you park, it's a short walk to a table with greeters that hand out saws to cut your tree down. This is by far the best tree farm we've visited. Last year, we went to about 4 and although it's the farthest, it's honestly the best. Not all trees are tagged so you may have to walk through a few aisles to find one that you like. They have a donut food truck that sells mini donuts, with choice of toppings, powdered/ plain/ cinnamon sugar, hot chocolate, hot cider and even cider slush. Just past the entrance, they have a couple of portable potties if nature calls. When it gets really busy, it can be hard to find a wheel barrel for your tree, so it might be a good idea to bring a tarp so you can drag your tree or you can carry it if it's not too big. Once you get your tree, you get in a line to get the leaves, loose needles shaken out and then wrapped. Pretty an easy process... the only thing is the time it takes to find a tree and waiting for your tree to get processed. The price can be pretty pricey. The cheapest tree we saw was for about $70 and can go up to over $130. I would be happy with a costco tree, but the experience of cutting down a tree is pretty fun (plus the delicious donuts). We've brought our dog once and noticed there were a lot of pups along for the adventure.

So glad we found CCC! Took my brother's kids w us and we all had a blast. I loved how things were…read moreset up: park, grab a cart, staff tell you to look for tagged trees only, and point out difference in trees, then you're off! They have three types of trees: Fraser fir, Korean fir, Concolor fir, and a great selection! We walked around and scouted out many great trees before sawing our tree down, throwing it into our cart and taking it up front for a good shake (to remove dead, orange needles) and to be wrapped for the car ride home. There were about 10 families ahead of us and I'm sure we didn't wait more than 10-15mins! On our way out we stopped by the donut stand for a bag of fresh mini-donuts and REGRETTED NOTHING!!! I'm pretty sure I ate five by the time I got home, and told my husband I can't wait for next year!! I'm so glad we found a great place to become our new family tree-selecting farm, and that they're family owned and good steward of the land!!

Outstanding!!!! Holy Diamond in the rough--This is the best tree farm I found in Michigan. I cannot…read morerecommend it enough. Don't let catchy names of others fool you. This tree farm has it all, and zero lines when we went on a Saturday. I'm so pleased I almost don't want to tell anyone because it's so amazing. But they deserve crowds. Gorgeous, symmetrical trees that are healthy, kept trimmed and thriving. They're reasonably-priced (literally half the cost of what we found in the Woodward co as pre cut trees in the metro Detroit area). Their rows are all orderly, well maintained, with mowed grass in between. Their barn is so cozy and beautiful. It's a perfect mix of new and modern with rustic. We felt like it was out of a catalogue. Their items inside ranged from popcorn and candied nuts to handmade hot chocolate bombs, beautifully knit hats, tees and sweatshirts of the tree farm's logo, beautiful tree trunk/bark ornaments hand-cut with messages or designs such as the 2022 year, a snowflake, Merry Christmas, Let It Snow, etc. it all felt really special and beautiful. We had the best time. They have excellent service from the tree cutting and wrapping process to the indoor barn portion, and it's very personal and feels like great vibes. Oh, they also have the most picture perfect photo backdrop, with a sleigh, decorated Christmas trees, lights, and a little sign "2022" for your family photos. WOW!!! They just exceeded expectations in every single way.
