Love this Christmas Tree Farm! Every year my husband and I are greeted and assisted by friendly employees in picking out the best tree we can find! Great selection of multiple tree species, including: Fraser Fir, Noble, Douglas, Balsam, White Pine, and the classic Spruce. We seem to choose something different each time we stop by. Their prices are fair and they have all different shapes and sizes to choose from. Don't hesitate to swing into the farm (and help the environment) by purchasing a local tree to adorn your home this holiday season! If you need help loading your tree, just holler! The farm itself is terrrific, however I agree that the trees available to cut are far too small and need a great deal of TLC. We also had to grab a precut from the pavilion so as not to have wasted our time (it does seem like the taller trees available already cut may have been shipped in). The tree we settled on ended up being so dry that the needles fell off more than what our past trees from our usual farm (that farm retired last year) looked like after 6 weeks being in our home. Although we won't return to Broadview, I do give them credit for standing behind their trees: they allowed me to return for a replacement tree at no cost (as anyone would based on this photo, I'd hope). We now have a healthy tree, albeit much smaller than we'd prefer, to get us through the season. read more

Tree selection is the worst I have ever seen. Fields are vast and trees are untrimmed and misshaped. Very thin young trees and they consider an 8' tree one that has a single tall stalk off the top. I honestly can't believe they have any good reviews. No real selection. No variety of trees. Family tradition of 25 years hunting for a tree. We just moved to area. We are used to beautiful, full, well trimmed large selection of u cut trees. We ended up having to buy a pre cut tree just so it wasn't a completely wasted day. I am not a diva believe me. They need to close down for a few years to let the trees grow. The fields are a disaster. I could go on and on. I'd give it zero stars if I could. read more

The whole thing was a mess not enough people working and the ones that were there (teenagers) stayed huddled together. Trees were very picked over they had a lot of them laying around and taking those and hanging them up in the barn,seems like they got a load of them cut up north and shipped down. read more

Held a wedding here this past weekend and had an amazing time! Farmer Joe was laid back, flexible, welcoming and made planning a breeze. The venue is beautiful, especially at night with all the lights. We were easily able to hold our 125 guests and had plenty of room for dancing. The food building worked perfectly for our grab and go COVID friendly food display. There is a lot of freedom regarding decorations and how to use the space. As long as you clean up after yourself and respect the space, the possibilities are endless. I highly recommend this venue if you're looking for something easy, yet a esthetically pleasing. Disappointing experience overall. Their tree selection for "you-cut" is poor, mostly short young trees that aren't ready to be cut yet. They seem to be bringing in trees from outside and unwrapping them and selling them in their pavilion because of this. Two stars because they have a cute indoors area and we got a picture with Santa even, which was nice. Also have good candies nuts and the hay ride to the tree fields was fun. read more

Here got a wedding. Nice pavilion. Seats could be a bit stronger. They are plastic and if you are heavy they may break. Saw a few people that have different seats it happens to be a beautiful day for an outside wedding. read more

We drove out to the Broadview Tree Farm this last weekend where we haven't been in a few years. We were greeted by one of the friendly helpers who helped my wife select the variety of tree we needed. It was very helpful to have a plan before venturing out. We were given a saw and helped up on the wagon and taken out to the field. There was a good selection of trees to pick from. We cut our tree down, dragged it to the wagon path, loaded it on the wagon, and returned back to the farm area. There it was shaken, and bundled. Our 8 ft spruce cost us just over $50. The hot chocolate was good. The farm is pet friendly. We took our dog with us. Santa was there for the kids. They even encourage tailgating in the back part of the parking lot. This place looks cool and has all the perks like wagon ride to the trees, saws ready to use, shakers to clean out all the needles but the problem is that they just don't have any mature trees. If you are looking for a fat 4-5 ft tree then this is the place. If you are looking for anything over 6ft don't bother. Hot chocolate is very watered down but only $1. Attended a wedding there this year , Beautiful, gorgeous grounds ! Do not rent their chairs, so flimsy and were dirty. They were unsafe for older and heavier people and overpriced for the quality. I found the crew the next morning to be very, very rude, what a shame to try to take away our beautiful memories that were made the day before just for the purpose of cleaning. This is not the place to go for your Christmas tree! The grounds are not kept in good shape. It was hard to find ONE tree that was well shaped-which must mean--this place does not take the time to groom their trees. We had to spend 3 hours to find two acceptable trees and then had to redrill the hole so that our stand would work. Most tree farms will wrap trees for free but here it was $2--we will not make this mistake next year. read more

hould have posted this earlier but things got busy. BEST tree place in the Metro-Detroit area, hands down! We've been going to Broadview for at least 10 years as we want to keep some tradition in the holiday season. Broadview offers the whole package, from the hayride to cut your own tree to the warming area with hot chocolate and Santa. Now that my son is 16, we forgo the Santa thing but still enjoy the atmosphere. We are hooked on a particular tree type, the Concolor, which is hard to find. Long lasting and smells like oranges, it's expensive, if you can even find it. Broadview has them, fresh cut from the UP and many that will be ready to cut yourself next year. Prices are reasonable, $60 for 7 1/2'. First tree we got was beautiful but wouldn't take water. Though no fault of Broadview, they had me take cell phone photo of tree losing needles after 4 days and gladly replaced the tree at no cost, even taking me out for a ride in the you cut area to look at the not quite ready ones. Settled on a pre-cut, which is still up and thriving, taking water every day. Hate to take down as it would probably last until February. Tip: We always went on the weekend, which can be very crowded. If you can, go on the weekdays. We were able to pull up front, had more help than we knew what to do with and if you want to cut your own, you are permitted to drive your own, heated vehicle back into the woods. read more
