First of all the park is Clean and lights come on at about 7pm unless you add $0.75 to the machine, to pre start the lights. Lots of parking, bathroom stalls are usually clean. And the Vending machines... well let's just say they need an upgrade and these kids are beating it to get they're coins back. NO BUMS!! Hanging around or digging through trash. Might see one after the park shuts its lights at 10pm. Most times it's rare to see these Bums. Unlike HUNT skate park its so trashy, and there's always bums in the skate park harassing everyone. Also I've noticed this place can have a handful of kids that seem to get dropped off here and picked up by late evening hours. You'll see more of an older crowd come in and shred About 6:30pm Also it's another hangout spot for the local skaters near by. BRIGHT, CLEAN, SPACIOUS.

Even had soap and warm water. There was an air show going on at the local airport, so it was cool to visit here for a bit and catch some of the planes as they were flying by.

If you are into skating and their is a certain board or brand you want, they most likely have it in stock. They stay up to date on what is trending. Also, this shop is tied to the community in a very good way so they will often to do monthly vendor/music events. You can find some great food and items from the local community at their events. Oh man, pulling up and seeing all the homeless people living at the Park was crazy. There's like a little community going on there. They were all drugged up looking and tweaked. There was an officer there for a while but then he just left. So we tried to get as far as we could from them and went to a corner near the skate park. It's a nice field and the grass is great ( aka not dead) but I don't think that I'll be coming back to this park.

Parking is usually $10. A great plus about the facility is that parking is all around the fields so you can park relatively closely to the fields you are playing on. Most other sports park simply have one big lot and you must walk a mile to get to your field. The restaurant food and adult drink options are good and it's nice to have a beer while over looking a game on their patio. The concession stands are great and they offer tons of food options if you don't want a sit down restaurant. Concessions can offer beer n wine. Overall, compared to other parks, Silverlakes is pretty good for soccer.

Lo and behold, it worked! Jamonn, brought back the joy and she is excited and looking forward to the next skate lessons. He's patient and understands different teaching techniques to use per individual (Everyone learns differently). He observes and corrects and you can see he's really rooting for her to nail the tricks. Patient, flexible booking, great price, what more can you ask for? He truly is an incredible teacher. My daughter never felt frustrated learning with him, which is a win!

He loves skateboarding and it is one thing he has been persistent on even when he makes a mistake or doesn't do it perfect which I cannot say for all things in his life except for skateboarding and especially skateboarding with Jamonn has helped him tremendously. My son is on the spectrum and very perfectionist and gets upset easily but Jamonn works so well with him and is so patient with him encouraging and teaching him. It is so beautiful to see my son gets so excited when he masters a new trick! It's amazing to see his progress from when he started a year ago barely getting his feet on the board to now trying to do tricks on steps and on the ramps. I love that there is not ever a set location to go to and that Jamonn will meet us wherever we are and we get to explore different skateparks. He really accommodates to our schedule as well and will take amazing photos and videos of my son's work during the lesson and will send it to me. Prices are affordable as well. Not only has skateboarding helped improve his skills in the sport, but it has improved his skills in his daily life outside of skateboarding as well. I love that it has benefited him in his daily life physically and emotionally. My son's balance and focus has definitely improved since starting skateboarding and I look forward to seeing continued progress as we continue lessons.
