I was very specific stating i wanted to use Rockwool insulation; when they called, I reiterated I wanted Rockwool batt and asked if their company works with this product. She said "yes." Later that day, a tech came out, I told him I only want to use Rockwool; he proceeded with inspecting, measuring and taking pictures of my attic and, I also asked him to give me an estimate on adding insulation to my crawlspace. An hour later, he says his estimate is done and tells me they DON'T use Rockwool!! This lousy SOB just wasted my time. I don't trust companies that lie every step of the way to their customers. What else might they lie about while they're performing some home improvement job?

Other providers that we called didn't even pick up the phone or said they would return our call and ghosted us. Simon, the owner, came out to do the estimate for us. He was on time and texted us beforehand. He is very knowledgeable about insulation and was able to explain things in a way that made it easy to understand! He walked us through a few different options at different price points and didn't put any pressure on us. The best part is, we were able to schedule the project for the same week! The day of the project, Simon texted us again to let us know they were on their way. This time, he even included a picture of the truck so we knew what to expect. He and his crew were extremely efficient, professional, and courteous. They were done in a single day and cleaned up after themselves! We highly recommend Insulation Commandos and will definitely be using them again to upgrade the insulation in our attic.

I was very pleased with everything from the initial contact to meeting with the salesman to the installers. They installed additional insulation to get it back up to standard, sealed gaps, and installed a zippered stir covering in my attic. All at a very reasonable price. They used Owens Corning ProPink and gave me a discount for being a Duke customer. I am very pleased with the work and the company as a whole. I highly recommend them.

Things went downhill fast from there. We spent 3 weeks trying to get in touch with them just to get the estimate. After nearly a dozen phone calls with their extremely unhelpful and useless receptionist, Laura, who appears to hate her job and never followed up as promised, they finally sent an estimate. Of course the estimate was more than $2000 more than what the guy told us in person it would be when he came out. If they are this bad before they've even taken money for services, I can only imagine how bad the actual service must be.

After getting blown off by another roofing company 2 times, I looked to YELP to get someone out to…read morelook at a failing soffit/fascia area next to my gutters. I called and Alex picked up immediately. Very polite on the phone and booked an appointment with him in two days. Alex arrived early, did a walk around the entire house, told me there were 2 additional areas that needed repair, he walked me outside and showed me the areas. I was sort of sick about additional areas that needed to be replaced but frankly I could see it and of course I didn't want rain water entering the house so I appreciated his keen eye on my issues. I also had a xeriscape rain barrel that I wanted hooked up to a downspout. This was done Tuesday (excellent job and added height to it to allow for better flow, innovative!) and today Thursday the main work was done and in a tidy manner and it looks great. Alex went up on the roof the first visit and took numerous pictures, diagnosed nails and missing shingles. This was awesome to show my husband all the pictures (roof is about 30 feet high and peaked so we cannot access). Recently had a issue with a water heater and someone come out to eval who said a knob was broken and needed to spend over 2k for a new heater--sounded odd. Emailed Albert after hours to call me about the issue and he called me back that evening. Albert had to fly out the next day but he arranged a tech to come out next morning and he called to follow up even though he was on vacation. The tech was able to twist the valve with a wrench and the heater was working! Beyond happy with Andrew Matthew's. Also, if we did need a new heater Albert's price was half the cost the other guy. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ANDREW MATTHEWS HVAC!!
