RUN as far away as you can! this place is filthy and disgusting and will not fix any of your issues. I have holes in my ceiling ( I live on the first floor!) It took me 8 months to get blinds in my bedroom, and they don't even work. before that it was just an open window. My bathtub isn't connected to the floor. My baseboards look like leftover pieces just taped to the wall. I have roaches and bugs. Stray animals on my patio. Broken doors in the hallway. Chipped paint and pieces of the wall missing. And they won't fix it. They will also harass you. I mean HARASS you to get what they want, not caring about you at all. When I say harass..think the stalker ex-boyfriend who won't take no for an answer until that final "no" and he murders you and chops you up into pieces and throws you into the swamp (conveniently located steps from my patio) where you will never be seen again. Do you want to be murdered?? then move here. if you like your life, even a little bit...then RUN as fast as possible somewhere that isn't Hunter's Chase!! otherwise you will be showcased on the nightly news.

Dirty apartment upon moving in and laminate flooring that is pulling up.

Toilet picks and chooses when to flush. Ceiling crack running throughout my entire apartment that is increasingly spanning and widening. Windows that I have to call maintenance to close because they don't. Foul smell coming from the furnace that had the service man from the gas company concerned.

    Broken kick board

DON'T RENT HERE!!!! If I could give them a -10000000000000000000000000000 I would. I hate living here since they handed my keys. They pressure you to leave a review right after you sign your lease because all they want is all the five stars so the apartment complex look like they care and are the best when in reality they don't give a fly fuck about the people of live in the apartment. We had 35 thing wrong with the apartment in June of last year. They still haven't fix any of it.When they came to fix my fridge. They didn't give us 24 hr notice when they was coming over. They just come over and just open up the door. We was sleeping in our bed when they came in. They told me my bill would be for everything 1400 but my bill is almost 2,000 a month. They also said they would give us hard wood for our floor bc that what we was wanting but instead they give us carpet. They also said they did a whistle glove test to show how clean the apt was but that was a lie because we found dust, mold and the HVAC filter was dirty before we even move in. All that the manager said to us is deal with it because you already signed the documents so you have to pay for it. All they care about is just to get you to sign the document so they can get paid. They also want us to leave a review of our experience before we even live there. That's probably how they have so many good reviews 3/14/23- I like how they said they have been in contact with me but I haven't had a phone call all day or at all about my problems. They just try to keep it look like they are doing something when in reality they don't care 3/15/23- Well the manager called me. She ask me what the was problem. I told her what it was and that it's kinda funny how I'm just now got a call about my problem after leave a review about this apartment complex. I told her I don't care if the problem gets fix now since I only have 3 month to live here. And she said well you are refusing us to do work so we are going to document it and then she hung up on me. So I call her back and told her all my problems and I also stated that I didn't say I was refusing the work. I was just say I don't care what you do since we only having 3 month to live there. 3/26/23- They kind fix the floor in the bathroom. They said the broken kick board was normal wear and tear. They also said in my review they are work to fix the problem but they only fix one out of the 35 problems and are acting like they are doing some thing about the problem to look like they care but they don't. They just care about they review and screw people out of money. 5/12/23- We had a meet with one of the lady, in the office about what we need to do for moving out. She said here the list. Then try to push us out ever when we set up a time to have a meeting to make sure they still had all our 35 problems on the list. But she was acting like we didn't matter and said I have another meet and can't talk any more so bye. All I have to say is WOW. They know how to treat people like crap after they have your money. THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY AND DONT GIVE A FLY FUCK ABOUT YOU AFTER THEY HAVE IT. All I have to say is on 6/21/23 at noon they better have my money and it better be ready.

Photos speak for themselves. Buildings are not maintained, lack of response to follow up from leasing staff or maintenance. Not worth the rent, headaches and dealing with the bugs. If this is luxury, then you might as well live in your car.

    Tub at move in

Read the real reviews. Not the five star ones they prompt you to write when you tour, because yes, they do that- probably to cover up the real ones. I was gullible and moved in despite the apartment being dirty/damaged and smelling of cigarettes during the tour. I was under the impression it would be cleaned before my move in but I was wrong. Within the first month of living there a bird came through my fireplace (I had never used) and left fecal matter everywhere. Not to mention the pilot light being blown out before my move in, the holes in the garage that caused flooding and damage to my personal belongings, or the gaps in my bedroom window that I had to shove trash bags into to keep my apartment bearable in the winter. Those are just a few things- I could go on. My yearly walk through was a ploy to get into the same room as me to pressure me into resigning the lease. This was very very uncomfortable. They were in my apartment for nearly an hour seeming to not take no for an answer. They finally left and told me I could think about it. They called me almost everyday for a week trying to talk me out of leaving. They said if I moved somewhere cheaper it would be trashy and in a bad area. Crazy coming from Hunters Chase when they found a body in the pond by my patio a few years ago. I got my deposit back, but they decided to keep $150 to themselves for- "tub and sink cleaning" Pictured below is a picture of the tub at my move IN. Covered in mold and very clearly not cleaned. I know for a fact I scrubbed the bathroom harder and longer than any of the cleaning staff at Hunters Chase would. I guess I should've painted over the mold that was there the entirety of my lease and probably long before that. That's more than Hunters Chase would've done! The sink is covered in a granite wallpaper material and was peeling up upon my move in as well. Maybe if they used the money they steal from tenants deposits they could actually have luxury apartments. The other pictures I've included are of damages/dirt at my move in and leaks that weren't tended to right away, because "there was no rain in the forecast, so the water pooling in my ceiling would be fine to wait another week." As an extra bonus enjoy the screenshots of duplicate maintenance requests you have to put in if you want something to be only halfway fixed. Don't waste your money here unless you enjoy the smell of cigarettes, living with mold, being strong armed into resigning, or paying $270 (my bill) for mandatory cable. (They say it's mandatory for every complex in the area-not true!) Maybe your experience would be different, but I strongly encourage you to try somewhere else.

    Air intake

STAY FAR, FAR AWAY FROM HUNTERS CHASE AND THE CONNOR GROUP, they will lie, cheat, and steal just to make a dollar. First, they would not let me look at my apartment I signed a lease for. The day of move-in, I asked the worker, "how does the apartment look"? He said , "it looks great". When I got there, it was trashed. No handle on the refrigerator, the stove drip pans were dirty with some missing, trash behind the stove and worst of all...the AC air intake had an inch thick of dust and dirt. 6 months later, they hounded us for 3 weeks straight basically begging us to renew our lease when we told them we are leaving in August. They don't like people with disabilities because I ask for 5 months to get an upright handicap sign. As of today, I am fighting to get my security deposit back. I contacted the Connor Group 3 times, and no one responded to my emails or gave me a call back. By Ohio law, they must send out security deposits 30 days after the lease has ended. Looks like I must get the attorney general involved. Please, please, please do not rent from them and tell everyone you know not to rent either.

Water heater hasn't been changed since 2003....big health hazard!!!

Where do I start....from the beginning the associate named KIARA, (who no longer is employed by them at no surprise), told us that all of our utilities combined would be $200 a month at the max, but we are paying 500 for all utilities because there are so many fees hidden that we were not told about. Also they did not warn us that the "great deal" on cable and Wi-Fi they get with spectrum is a mandatory thing and it cannot be shut off or changed out, etc. we were lied to about that. When we moved in our bathroom floor was busted up from the previous occupant, and we were told that in one or two weeks someone would be able to fix it but that never happened and now it is four months later and we told the office that no one had been out to fix our problem and they acted like they had never heard of it... and said they "lost the work order for it". I have never heard of or seen A more unprofessional Group of people in my entire life. This apartment complex is 100% a scam. They rushed us through the entire process of signing our lease and didn't even check our backgrounds and our income before saying that we were approved...which is not standard procedure. They wanted us to move in so quickly and so bad just to hit The certain number of move-in's that they needed for that month, that they lied about so many things just to make us move in. It is going on our fifth month living here and I can say I regret it fully!!!!!! DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!

    After I cleaned it
    Andrea S.

I went to go clean the intake vent for the heater (not sure if that's what it is called) because i noticed thick dust accumulating in the slits. As i was vacuuming, more and more kept coming out so I unscrewed it and there was literally 2 inches of BLACK crap that's clearly more than 2 years old. And this is a "newly upgraded" apartment. I should have known it was absolutely disgusting behind that because a week into moving in here, the filter hadn't been changed and was completely coated in brown filth. For how much they charge for this place, I am thoroughly disappointed. All they want is your money and dont care to put you into an unhealthy living situation. Renters beware.

Honestly folks, go somewhere else. The customer service is dismal. I've lived here for about 1.5…read moreyears, in a lease that they didn't explain well when I moved in. I moved in after a fire in my home. When I moved in I was told that I was receiving a discounted rent rate because my apartment was not remodeled like many of the others. what a joke that was, I found out later that was never true and that renter amounts change based on occupancy. I've tried to get my ice maker fixed more than 10 times. work order after work order just to have a maintenance person come and "fix" and then immediately have the same problem. At what point do they replace the damn refrigerator? I also met with management after being treated like "dirt" by one of the employees when I tried to discuss a concern. The manager listened but everything she told me were lies. She told me they would come look at our carpets...hasn't happened and it's been about 3 months. She said they would replace our countertops with the upgraded counters. now she said "we are not doing that". I finally did get my refrigerator bottom piece that was missing since I moved in but that took over a year and again my ice maker has never worked properly. Before I moved in they asked what I thought would qualify them as luxury. sounds dumb but the ice maker was one of my musts, and I've never had it function properly. Additionally, I'm in the military and was deployed overseas for a couple of months. While gone my bank accounts were hacked and I had to call the bank to shut down any debit cards, credit cards etc. My rent is automatically debited and of course that stopped. Now I wasn't aware until about 6 days after the due date this had happened. As soon as I learned of the fraud alert I called the apartment complex. Keep in mind I pay around $2400 a month to live here. More than my house payment for a crappy out of date apartment. When I contacted the apartment complex from overseas I thought they understood and I paid them as soon as I received my new account information. I returned from overseas a week later and found an eviction notice on my door and they charged me about $600 in late fees. Again, I have never been late so you would think due to the situation of my fraud alert and all accounts being shut down while I was overseas thy would have some mercy. but nope... no care at all by management yet they can lie, not answer my requests. treat their tenants rudely and there is no recourse. I can't get out of here fast enough, unfortunately that won't be until April when my lease expires.Know that there's no such thing as living here a year and then moving out once you're ready. You have to sign another year lease. All kidding aside, you're better off in a low income apartment because that's how this "luxury" apartment complex takes care of you.

Bottom line: do not move in here…read more Management was very friendly and helpful while living at Austin Springs, but they are also very pushy and when we gave our notice that we were leaving, they became very rude to us. They up the rent more than $100 every year. They try to sell you on a "special deal" when it's time to renew your lease, but you only have 4 days to consider it and it's still increased by at least $100. I think it's ridiculous that you have to pay for the trash valet, even if you don't use it. They will charge you additional cleaning fees when you move out, even if you clean the apartment. They have a clause in their contract that says they can keep your security deposit AND charge you excess. We didn't read the fine print. However, the apartment was not cleaned well when we moved in. The dryer vent was smashed and filled with lint, the microwave was cracked, there was a hunk out of one of our doors, the toilet seat was broken, and there was some sticky substance spilled under our sink. When we reported this to the office, they tried to come out 2 weeks later at 9pm to clean it up, but we had already cleaned by then. Maintenance does is fairly quick to respond but they do a sloppy job. Parking is extremely difficult. People end up parking wherever they can and blocking cars in. The office does not do anything about it. There are other places near there that are just as nice, less expensive and less shady.

People were lazy and would leave trash outside of the dumpsters rather than putting it inside of them and then the trash would blow around the lot 8. The pool always had tons of tree debris and bugs floating in it 9. The garages were dilapidated, dirty, full of water and mold, and not worth having since you won't want to leave anything in there 10. I had to dodge TONS of goose poop walking on the sidewalks and entryways 12. People speed through the parking lots and I saw a duck get hit :( 13. The main doors to the buildings were always open so anyone could enter. I would get random people knocking on my door which was unsettling 14. TLDR: extremely overpriced not even including hidden fees, unprofessional staff, unresolved…read moremaintenance, horrible unit upon move in Hunters chase continually disappointed us during our year of living there. The staff are poorly trained and not knowledgeable. The apartments are the epitome of landlord special with an additional touch of neglect. The problems started before move in. The staff said there was a "mix up" with our unit assignment, and made us drop everything to change all of our utilities and resign a different lease the same day of move in. When we moved in, in February, there was a paper on the counter that said they have a "white glove guarantee"- the apartment was so disgusting we had to deep clean before moving our stuff in, and in addition, the windows were stuck OPEN with a full 2 inch gap above the windowsill. Open windows in winter, which weren't fixed for 2 weeks, uninhabitable conditions. We were offered no discount on rent or lost utilities. When I called to talk to office staff, a sexist member of the office staff told me I should try harder to shut the windows--FYI the windows required entire replacements, which could not be resolved by trying harder to shut them. In addition to the price gauged rent, you can expect to pay up to $400 monthly in additional utilities, including a required internet and cable package. As if anyone needs to pay for cable these days, you are REQUIRED to pay for it. The monthly charges on top of rent also include various fees that are deceptively snuck in. The entire time we lived there we also had maintenance requests unanswered- staff were not receptive of these things and they were not resolved. The cherry on top was my move out process. They asked us on 10 separate occasions to renew our lease. They were weird about us having a roommate. The manager accused me of not turning in the keys, which she later found, after several accusatory calls and texts, and then asked for my forwarding address after I had provided it 3 separate times, just confirming that they hadn't been reading any of my messages documenting things. One last thing-- a member of the office staff, Katie, spread rumors about us both within the leasing office and to other residents. A neighbor told me that Katie had been discussing our personal lives to other residents, and when I called to discuss this, a man in the office confirmed this and told me she had been transferred anyways. Extremely rude and unprofessional. Disgusting behavior.

My biggest grievance is the DOMESTIC SHOOTING that occurred on property Halloween night including several individuals from MANAGEMENT and MAINTENANCE. The Connor Group handled the situation horribly thereafter. Instead of transparently informing residents of the incident and offering us an option to peacefully vacate our leases, after the safety and security of our home had been breached by those responsible with keeping it, but the Connor Group did not even inform residents of the full situation. A short email was sent out informing us of a "domestic incident" and extra security and police expected to be around. They then replaced the entire on-site staff, either shipping them off or removing them from their positions and the property. New management is "temporary" and "doesn't know anything." It is unfair to put residents through such a traumatic experience, and then leave them out to dry in this manner with no reasonable option out. The Connor Group does not even have an early termination clause in their leases, you are simply required to pay the remainder of the term. I am appalled by the Connor Group and the way it has treated its residents. On top of this, in less than a year at the Aston I have experienced: - Overly aggressive sales tactics, scaring residents into renewing due to "high demand in prices" that haven't changed in months - Delivery drivers leaving packages all over the property, rarely in lockers as they almost never have access to the proper areas to deliver. - Residents partying and having sexual relations in the pool area all night, disturbing other residents - A perpetual beeping in the parking garage that can be easily heard throughout the apartment complex, disturbing residents in their sleep - The health department had to shut down the pool due to improper maintenance and cleaning - Multiple broken doors on the property (that took months to be repaired) The Connor Group needs to do better, and at least offer residents a reasonable way out when they ask.

DO NOT RENT HERE IF YOU HAVE DOGS OR KIDS We only vacated because they let us cancel our lease without penalty and I was tired of being hurrassed daily This apartment has paper thin walls so unless your 80 years old HIGHLY DONT RECOMMEND READ WASHINGTON PLACE POLICES

Terrible ownership, worked there as maintenance with one other guy for an almost 300 unit complex…read morefor 3 years, they were terrible, constantly behind on our bills, took two to three weeks to get appliances approved, management was constantly late to work and pushing unrealistic work goals while video chatting friends in the office, dudes had us painting 3-4 units a week while taking care of a pool, same week I'd do 3-4 ac repairs and 20-30 work orders, have to take a day of overtime, and they'd still find the one day you clocked in 2 minutes behind on accident, don't live here, you'll be wanting to strangle the office staff by your second or third visit, and none of you're issues will ever actually be fixed because the staff doesn't have the man power to run the building properly

This place has fallen from grace. This used to be an upstanding place but since the new management…read morecame in it's now basically section 8 at high rate prices. Constant fighting in hallways. Fire alarms going off. Doors broken. They claim you can't smoke here but the sweet smell of weed fills the halls all day. They have not met their landlord obligations under Ohio revised code 5321.04. I do not feel safe here any longer. The garage parking that you pay for should and needs to be pro-rated since the garage has been broken all of 2023. We now have break-ins. This is from people coming in through the unsecured garage. Another violation of the Ohio revised code including the amount of trash and unsanitary conditions in the garage. As this is a contract that is broken. I think 450.00 taken off rent for the 6 months of garage parking that the garage hasn't worked. I think anyone that lives and pays for the garage should be asking for their proration. I believe that management here is more concerned about stupid stuff such as events and posting on their Facebook page instead of the real issues. Maybe this company is way over its head and really doesn't need to be in the rental industry.

DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!! Maintenance tries to get by with below the minimum upkeep, and the office…read morestaff won't address issues / complaints!!! 1. The very first day I moved in the water heater died, and leaked water all over the kitchen. It would have killed my computer had I not rushed to move it out of the way! The emergency maintenance person didn't respond to the call, and I had to wait over 24 hours for running water! When they replaced the water heater, they left the old one up in the attic storage along with yet another old / dead unit! So basically the storage that I paid for was mostly taken up by 3 water heaters supported by a questionable attic / ceiling structure! 2. The garbage disposal died, and leaked water all over the under sink cabinet area until the wood finally rotted, and mold set in! I made several attempts to let them know the severity of the situation, and they did nothing to fix it! I am guessing it's because they are too cheap to afford more than one maintenance guy, and he was always way behind on calls / problems! 3. I literally lived next door to a crackhead (he admitted it, and I had seen him do it on one occasion!) They'll let anyone move in there so have fun playing Russian roulette with your possessions, and loved ones! On multiple occasions the crackhead neighbor would come to my door beating and screaming to the point where I was about to call the cops. I had also brought this to their attention (really early in my lease) and the office manager almost seemed to not even take me seriously when I would complain about this guy. This guy would literally get into multiple fights in and around his apartment, and cops were called on multiple occasions! Don't rent from this place, it was the worst renting experience ever! The place was dangerous, it smelled, there was disruptive noise 24/7, and the staff were completely uncooperative!!!
