My daughter and I enjoyed one their tapas offerings, with an added a skewer of grilled chicken. But I was there to sample and purchase their wine! The wine was very good and I left with a bottle of nice merlot that I will save for the holiday season. They are only open on Fridays and Saturdays from June till early Oct. We were the first to arrive on an early Sat, and the place slowly filled up, so they are definitely popular for the residents who live way out here. And I do mean WAY out here lol. We are property owners in the Seven Bays area, and if we weren't I would never have known about this family winery.

The facility and grounds are picturesque with wildlife visiting morning and night and occasionally throughout the day. I cannot say enough about the owners and manager. Simple bunk rooms to sleep in , a nice lodge with pianos, foosball, dining hall, fireplace, games, and lots of outside options near a beautiful river (paddle boards, etc. though cold water), fishing, lots of farm animals like sheep, horses, etc. Tip: you bring your own bedding and towels like most KOA style cabins. We brought along snacks/drinks just in case but didn't need much. No AC in bunkrooms and cabins so prepare to use window fan provided or something else. It does get cooler at night when we were there in June.

We pulled our carts to the front ourselves and asked the checkout shack staff for help. The clueless blonde said she didn't know what was going on either and did not offer help. We sat there in the sun until Brooke sauntered back, we got a couple more things and checked out for $2,600+. We got a $0.20 rebate through their Rewards program. Yes, a twenty cents for $2,600+ purchase. They wouldn't even give us free delivery, so that was an extra $200. Fast forward to $200 delivery, which amounted to wind-shorn plants in the back of a pickup truck. The trunks of two $300 trees were bouncing off the tailgate where they had fallen over. One tree was near death, with the entire top covered in crunchy dead leaves, browned branches and leaves severly eaten by insects. We refused the one tree and returned to Barn and Blossom to pick out a different tree, until we were told we had to pay another $200 delivery fee. NO, WE WON'T PAY FOR THE DELIVERY TO REPLACE THE NEARLY DEAD TREE YOU TRIED TO DUMP ON US. After, $2,800+, I would have expected a basic level of courtesy the first time we were there, at least the second time, but no. There is zero service and if I could give negative stars, I would. We have alot more yard to landscape and it won't be through Barn and Blossom. The response from Barn and Blossom's owner was, "We are glad you won't be coming back as you are not welcome." Such poor service, even from the owner...now they created a Disney level fantasy novella below about how great they are.

My favorite part about this place is the inside of the barn which was magically transformed into the perfect setting for the reception. Most guests wouldn't know this, but the barn has really cool rooms for the bridal party and groomsmen to get ready/hang out in. The girls' space is sweet and has room for ladies to gather, relax, and primp. The guys' space is more about keeping the guys busy and has a foosball table! The owners are kind and made us feel right at home and made sure the happy couple stayed happy at all times. Thumbs up for On River's Edge!

Our August wedding was magical thanks to Pam and Bob Brown and their wonderful venue on the Little…read moreSpokane River. We visited six wedding sites and knew the minute we walked up the driveway that "this was the place" for us. The Brown's property allowed us the many little locations we wanted for our very personal and detailed celebration. Our loose theme was "woodland bohemian," incorporating live music and a family-style summer supper, served outside, then dancing in the barn afterwards. Pam graciously answered our questions through the process via phone and email and we visited a few times before setup to take inventories of the many items they provide, as well as measurements for our decor. -- This place is really unique in that, along with the rental fee, which is in line or below other venues, the Browns' offer their clients tables, chairs, dozens of mason jars, candle stands, urns, chalk boards, and more to use as you wish. We decided to use their chairs for our ceremony by the arbor and rented wood chairs for our dinner tables, which worked well. We used their tables and rented table clothes, which also saved us money. The grounds are wonderful and we found that having the enormous lawn with games for the few kids who attended was fantastic and allowed their parents to really enjoy themselves. Pam Brown was on hand throughout the evening and worked as hard as anyone there - it was great to have her nearby to let us know where things went during cleanup and to help things along. Our wedding celebration is something we will never, ever forget because of the special unique setting and amenities of On River's Edge.

I slept upstairs, the fridge is a bit loud so bring earplugs. The bed is right next to the fridge. The portable air conditioning only available upstairs was also loud but better than not having air conditioning at all. I also with she had some Kleenex available. She didn't serve breakfast due to covid19. Her place is beautiful and the river is calm/shallow so perfect for kayaking. She let us use her paddle boards. Penny is very friendly. We got to see her other 2 rooms she rents out, they are very nice as well. I hope to come back again one day.

The waitress on this visit had the whole place to work by herself, which wasn't too big a deal as there were maybe 10 people total. She was very friendly and efficient. This is an old town bar that doesn't seem to have been updated in quite some time. I sat by the front windows which also provided me with an assortment of gnats, flies, and other bugs looking to either get outside, or bother me. If in the area, it's not a bad spot to get some food or drinks.
