My vehicle broke down heading south on I-35 at around 11:00pm on a Saturday night recently. After calling several wrecker services, I ended up on Hunters. I called and the gentleman who answered said he'd "throw on his boots and be there in 20 minutes." He was. The first thing he said to me as he approached my vehicle was, "I can't believe you parked it like this. How am I supposed to get to it?" I was traveling 70+ mph when the engine died in my relatively new Suburban. The last thing I was thinking as I tried to maneuver through traffic to the side of the road was where to best put the truck. I was just trying to not be killed by the Casino traffic swirling around me. The drive and I had some words over this, and he remained obstinate and then scurried back to his vehicle. I was in the process of looking up someone different to come and get me when he said he would go ahead and give me a tow. Interestingly enough, the driver had very little problem maneuvering around the vehicle and getting it on the truck. The driver ended up being nice enough, and my vehicle made it to the dealer there in town in one piece. (Turns out my fuel pump went bad.) I was just thoroughly unimpressed by the driver's lack of professionalism as he first got on the scene. I would never use this company again. read more

My son locked himself out of his vehicle in 95 degree weather. Will from Hunters was there in 15 minutes and had the door open very quickly. He also helped us with another problem we were having with the truck and ended up covered in sweat and antifreeze. These guys are wonderful quick professional service friendly driver wish I had called them first, we were stuck In Oklahoma on the side of IH35 for 4 hours waiting on Gilbert's towing after being told less than an hour... never heard from the driver like we were told after the 4 hour wait we cancelled and called Hunters towing and recovery told them of our situation the dispatch was very understanding told me 35mins out, driver called verified our location and was there with in 30mins... trust me we timed it lol... I hope to not be stuck on the side of the road in this area again but if I am these guys will definitely be my first call... much appreciated keep up the amazing work! read more

I downloaded this app just to complain about this place. What a messed up experience my boyfriend and I had with them! My tire blew on the highway around 5:20 pm on a Saturday. I called them, and they were not exactly the friendliest to begin with. I told them where we were, using the exit number and mile markers. They told us they couldn't come get us, and to call someone else. We also asked where to find a tire at that time of day. They said everywhere was closed, except for Wal-Mart whose tire center closed at six, but was half an hour away. We called another towing service. Turns out Hunter's was about three minutes from our location, and Wal-Mart is only a minute away from them!!! Also, their lube center closed at seven, not six! AND the good towing service we got informed us that Wal-Mart was not the only place to buy a tire at that time, because there was one more business open that late who could have sold me one. Wtf?!?! Way to screw people over. I was about to have a breakdown thinking I wasn't going to be able to get home, and I live in Oklahoma! read more
